First IVF round - thought it was a success, but lost it very early 💔 Disappointed with the clinic as well...
And then the nurse had thought and suggested doing another
urine
test
to make sure it was not ectopic... I don't get it how this testing could be left for an ivf patient to self-diagnose and then the clinic just takes my words for granted and does not even check the results! It just blows my mind.

Diagnosis Journey
I was wondering if anybody else experienced frustration and gaslighting along their diagnosis journey. After being bounced from specialist to specialist (cardiologist, pulmonologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist, dermatologist, endocrinologist, ENT) for each symptom and having each one tell me that

On path for an MRI-guided SBRT
In addition to the Karyometry showing favorable "grade 1", I managed to get the Sentinel exosome
urine
test
from miR Scientific last October, which showed a "favorable intermediate" profile.

interstitial cystitis
Hi, I am convinced I have got interstitial cystitis- if so… how long until diagnoses? I’ve had millions of urine samples, some sent to lab, I’ve had clear renal blood tests and I’ve had thorough examinations of down below and my back etc. is the last thing a scan? And what type? How much more prodding

Prostate cancer test confidence…
I recently requested a physical prostate examination and a PSA
test
after suffering weeks of constant feelings of a need to
urine
. I had both of the tests as well as a
urine
test
and was told that everything seemed fine.

cysts on kidneys
hello, I have just had the results of a follow up scan. This one was a renal scan this Tim. I first had an abdominal ultrasound in April. The stomach was mostly fine apart from fatty liver (moderate). They also found a complex cyst on my right kidney measuring 63 × 51 × 50mm. It was labelled as haemorrhagic

Puppy sitting, infections, transplant impatience and the importance of taking photos
Anyway, I've already done the
urine
test
and will be doing a blood test in a couple of weeks as it's better to be safe than sorry and ideally I would like to get a good night's sleep where I'm not waking up two or three times to go to the bathroom.

Is this IBS bit of a weird one.
So since 10th February this year I started with diarrhea only really once a day after about 2 months (april) I made a doctor appointment where they felt my stomach and it was not hard or sore at all, he wanted to do a stool sample and blood sample which I did and it all came back as normal, still having

Does Buspirone take time to work
When she sent me over for my yearly bloodwork, they said the Dr also wanted a
urine
test
. I thought it weird, but figured maybe it was part of the physical now. Two days later I get results from MY DRUG TEST. (??!! WTH) It was 100% Clean by the way, but I felt like I'd been slapped.

Exhaustion may not be thyroid related!
Hi all, just wanted to share my recent experience which came as a complete shock/surprise. So, usual story, feeling exhausted, needing to nap all the time, barely able to function. This feeling has been even worse since new year, barely able to get out of bed. Now, I knew I was a poor converter and needed

Has anyone else been diagnosed with hypercalciuria (excess calcium in urine) causing osteoporosis?
A 24-hour
urine
test
showed that my kidneys put out too much calcium (however blood calcium levels are normal). Testing was done to rule out parathyroid issues. The doctor called it idiopathic hypercalcemia and said it's likely genetic in origin.

Can I improve or stop progression of CKD
I will be 85 this July. I regularly see my nephrologist every 6 months for CKD and my Hematologist every 4 months for MGUS. And my primary about every 4 months. They all order blood and urine testing to monitor my progress and status. I watch YouTube videos of Nephrologists and Renal Dieticians.

This came back positive but they said in the absence of other symptoms it’s likely this is a false positive They did a
urine
test
which on Sunday night the dipstick showed positive and 2mthe day later another urine sample was negative They said it would take 2 days for the results of the urine sample
