Micro blood clot in toe
Hi, hope everyone is feeling as well as possible. I was diagnosed with ET JAK2 positive in 2016, my platelets have never really been higher than 550 however I was diagnosed after having a splenic infarct, sine then have had a splenectomy and small bowel resection due to inflammatory cyst in my bowel.

Any advice? I had HA May 2020, got 3 stents fitted on ramipril, bisoprolol, atrovastatin and aspirin.
Before my HA my resting pulse was 62, after medication it went to 55, I exercise, became vegetarian and practically stopped drinking. I am 53 and no athlete. š My resting pulse is now averaging 48 and occasionally lower. I feel fine. I have not seen a doctor since I left hospital. Is this ok?

Why continue warfarin?
Will I be okay to go off warfarin and switch back to taking 2 low dose aspirin daily? My cardiologist just shrugged and said he can't make me continue warfarin. I believe my diagnosis of AFib was erroneous.

Hi you lovely people again Your help and advice has been brilliant so I need to ask again if anyone has experienced the same thing I did tell the Heart nurse about the ache in my left arm and shoulder, she told me to try my spray, if the pain stopped it was not angina, I tried it and the pain was still

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force strikes again - Aspirin
The USPSTF never did recommend aspirin for PCa, of course, but they did for the prevention of colorectal cancer, in 2016. They are reversing that. Men with PCa have a greater risk for heart disease. Mark Moyad coined the expression āHeart healthy is prostate healthy.ā, although he may not have been

My husband is on clopidogrel and aspirin. He had an accident at work and grazed his calf and it is now badly bruised. He went to A&E and they xrayed it and said it was just badly bruised. This happened a week ago and then last night the top of the ankle is slightly swollen and the foot is bruised. Should
