I have been away for a few months to be able to control and manage my stress and anxiety during this time.
A quick update:
1st round IVF: MMC at 9 weeks
2ed round: no response
3ed round: one egg, one embryo, day 2 transfer and positive pregnancy
I had my 19 weeks scan on Friday. The baby is developing very well and he was fine. However, I have low lying and circumvallate placenta. I am so worry and anxious with the result.
Can l do anything to minimize the risk? Will the bed rest helpful? I ask take Omega 3 and Aspirin, should I stop them?
Appreciate if anyone with this type of placenta can share your experience with me.
Thanks

Congratulations Mta209 on your lovely news!Unfortunately I don’t have experience of this but I have seen a couple of ladies post about this in recent months - you could try and search healthunlocked.
My understanding is your placenta could still move up as your pregnancy develops so pls don’t despair! Its good news they have picked this up now and will monitor you and baby closely. Try and focus on the fact your baby is developing well and don’t google too much as it can make you more worried x
Hi Beatrix,Thanks for your reply. Googling drove me crazy. Wish you the best for your journey xx
You may get more responses on BabyandMe or the NCT forums as all the ladies on there have had successful pregnancies. I can see that would be very worrying - my sister had it and it meant in the end she needed a c section but was absolutely fine and baby is now 6 months old x
I can’t help on the circumvallate part but a low lying placenta is actually quite common! Me and two friends who were pregnant at the same time all had this flagged at our 20 week scan and just had to have a rescan at 34 weeks. All of them had moved up by then. Apparently that happens 90% of the time so only a small chance it wouldn’t and a c section would be scheduled xx
