Tanta Anna please help me with suggestions
I know you cannot give medical advice. I am at my wits end ! I had my ablation for atrial focal arrhythmia last week. (with Dr Natalie in Texas-my first with him went great, ablated left appendage with watchmen) This one was deemed successful in the report. I Developed this funky arrhythmia in December

UPDATE: Yesterday's phone consult with Ortho Surgeon
After being referred (by the now non-existent GP) to Ortho Surgeon for low back, hips and groin issues back in January '23, I finally had a 10-15 phone consult yesterday. I had made a whole page of notes that I wanted to discuss with him, which I tried to do, but he kept alluding to a consult from 2019

Update: Arrived at 4.5 mg & staying for awhile!
I started taking 40 mg of Prednisone in late May 2021, so I've been taking Prednisone for 23 months so far. I started having symptoms in early January 2021. I feel lucky to be at this stage after 2 years, although, like many on here, I was told by a GP that it would go into remission in one year! Up

OA in hip and right shoulder
I've tried Voltaren, Duloxetine ( which did not stop the pain) Aleve, Tylenol, shot in the hip. I really don't want surgery, I'm 69. I even tried castor oil poultice.Id like just like to manage pain at night so I can sleep.... During the day when I'm up I can deal but nights are the worst.

Vitamin and mineral supplements? My latest results
Hi all, I've just had my latest Blue Horizon results (see image) which I would welcome comments on, particularly regarding the vitamins and minerals I might need to supplement. All blood tests were done no later than 9.30am, no levo for 24 hours before. I've worked really hard this year on my diet, but

Blood test results
Help! I received my blood test results today and had a little panic!! I wondered if I was over medicated. I’m on 50 micrograms Levothyroxine which I realise now that I shouldn’t have taken on the morning of the test. I took the Levo at 5.20am and had the blood test at 10.20am. The results were:- Serum

Nubeqa vs Abiraterone for post Docetaxel maintenance?
Thanks to the many on this board that offered suggestions I will soon complete a slightly modified triple therapy of ADT+ABI+Docetaxel. My challenges with side effects included eliminating Tylenol and reducing ABI for one cycle; and then, switching from 1000mg ABI on empty stomach to 250mg ABI+ 10mg

Raised ALT and GGT after surgery but worried about Hepatitis/other illnesses
Hi, I have been feeling unwell for a while, which I think is mostly anxiety. Nausea throughout the day, a bit of fatigue and sweating at night. I went away with friends and had a very hard drinking weekend, the week after until the present day (3 months) has been horrible. Nausea and fatigue mostly.

Hi Peeps I was wondering if you could enlighten me a bit about cholesterol if you’re a ( treated ) hypothyroid person . I’ll give you a bit of background… I had been on plant sterols ( natural statins ) for a couple of years with no adverse effects , until June this year when I started getting

Hi all and thank you in advance for reading. I am a healthy 34 year old woman and was admitted to hospital 7 weeks ago with severe chest, jaw, back and arm pain. Very scary! My troponin levels were 208 so they kept me in for 3 days. All other tests - ECG, echo and CT all clear. I refused an MRI due

Blood Results - and poor treatment/support from NHS - feel lost and unwell
I have been diagnosed severe Graves with high antibodies for about 8 years and suffered a number of relapses where usually end up in A&E. Due to reading a lot on this forum and other websites I have refused RAI treatment due to the often poor outcomes and don’t really want surgery either as read about
