Cold water swimming
I started sea swimming early morning in September last year and continued going after being diagnosed with PMR. On the days I don't go I find my aching and stiffness recur - has anyone else found cold water swimming helpful? It is supposed to have anti-inflammatory effects and may even stave off dementia

Despite cxr, ecgs, bloods etc which are all clear i am still coughing but not spontaneous cough but seems to come from below sternum. I have a sense of irritation there. Also feels hard to get a good breath. I am a lifelong asthmatic but this is not the same. Anyone else get the need to cough so

Cold water swimming and Raynaud's symptoms.
Cold Water swimming and Raynauds symptoms - ? I am new here and wondering if it could be detrimental to go cold water swimming when it triggers Raynaud's symptoms? Lots of swimmers get mild symptoms and manage them with protective measures - wondering if anyone else here has experience of cold water

Antibiotics and levothyroxine
I’ve developed an extremely painful Cystitis and ended up at walk in centre it got so bad. I now have antibiotics to take 2xday and I wondered if I can take them at the same time as my levothyroxine. There was no way I could avoid antibiotics & it came on so over just a few hours. Never had it before

I'm BACK
So far so good! Haven't lit up since last Saturday and everything tastes and smells so good. Hey, it real hard but I'm determined this time. I've had bronchitis 2x and when you can't breathe, you can't smoke. So, I decided this is the time! Please send prayers and any positive feedback. Thank you.

My Interesting Covid Experience
A little over a week ago I felt extreme chills and cold. It was really hard but lasted only for about a day (even less) and then I was just a little sick, like a regular flu. I never developed cough or lung symptoms. I did the Covid test and it turned out positive. What is interesting is that all my

New here!
I was referred here from a fb group. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, I also have low adrenals. I assume those work together? I am wondering which doctor to choose next or just go it alone? I have had insomnia for about 12 years now. It gets especially bad around my monthly menses. I

Any side effects from flu jab?
I'm new here. Diagnosed with afib 5 months ago. Still freaking out about it. I recently had a flu jab and have had lots of headaches, palpitations and dizziness. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm on a Eliquis and blood pressure meds. I'm sensitive to beta blockers, so cardiologist doesn't want me

Doxycycline
New research demonstrates the anti‐dyskinetic potential of doxycycline (& its analog compound COL‐3) in a rodent model of Parkinsons; L‐DOPA was not affected by doxy or COL‐3; Doxy was also associated with decreased FosB, cyclooxygenase‐2, GFAP, & OX‐42 https://bpspubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111

Coughing after a run
I completed W9R1 yesterday. I have noticed that after every run, I get an irritated feeling in my windpipe and I keep needing to cough. Not a chesty cough, more like an irritating tickley cough. I manage to run for the full distance, I get a little breathless but nothing major and my breathing gets

Ongoing Cough
This is an update on my husband’s cough. My husband has now been off Imbruvica for a month and still no improvement w/his cough. He will be off for another month yet due to getting his COVID shot. By that time, he will have been off for two months. He will then restart at a lower dose. He has seen
