Why am I suffering from sore windpipe and chest?

Every week I have a recurring sore throat and trachea particularly at the base and my chest is sore. I have a bit of a cough but not much. Talking makes it worse and the cold weather. Not sure if it’s worth seeing my gp?

I get reflux without heartburn but get lower chest pains and sinus pain

Definitely worth looking into acid reflux. Try over the counter meds like nexium and see it it helps. Sounds like reflux to me. I suffer with it.

Omg me too! All last week! I've tried antacid tablets, decongestant med, strepsils. Its horrible!

Do you have a problem with a post-nasal drip? I have had this sort of problem for years, finally got short course of antibiotics + a steroid nose spray and it was magic! - can at last lie down to sleep without nose blocking, and without continual nippy pain in lower throat and upper chest. Could you get a telephone consultation or an e-consult, and check this with GP?
