Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
Still 3 years and my FND has not improved even with therapy. Has anyone tried Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)? It’s supposed to stimulate the nerves.

Diagnosed with osteoporosis.
I was also told I could take
tums
for calcium and walking with a weighted vest will help my bones. Greens have a lot of calcium so I need to eat plenty of that. Sesame seed has a lot of calcium too. I also have a Vegan supplement with naturally sourced calcium. Vit D is important too.

repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation - an update
I concluded repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) therapy just over two months ago. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to have been effective for my Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD). I had 27 consecutive sessions (2 were high frequency, the remaining 25 were low frequency pulses delivered

Hi there, A good friend of mine (62 years) text me tonite saying he was considering having this procedure carried out. Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

I initially started with a high frequency (excitatory) protocol but found that unbearable in that it seemed to make things worse. So, I

ECT for OCD?
Hi everyone. My psychiatrist who manages my medication for OCD has suggested that one of my remaining options right now is Electroconvulsive Therapy. I'm wondering if this is effective for OCD. I'm concerned about the side effects and also the effectiveness of it for my severe OCD. I'm 40 now and I developed

Transcranial magnetic stimulation improves cognition over time in Parkinson's disease September 2019
Not as effective as Caloric Vestibular Stimulation, and some studies have shown it to make things worse, but probably more available. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1353802019302962 Conclusion These preliminary findings suggest that active iTBS might improve overall cognitive

My wife's fear of cancer.
Usually manageable with

#WellnessWednesday What's the deal with TMS for OCD?
Hey everyone, If there's one thing we get a lot of questions about, it's TMS. YES! Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. If you haven't heard this term before, here is a quick explanation of what TMS is:
TMS is a non-invasive way of “stimulating” (or changing) activity in the brain using magnetic fields
