Glaucoma along with advanced AMD (GA stage)
Hi all, I am new to this forum and would like an opinion from the experts here. My father has glaucoma in both eyes and unfortunately, by the time it was diagnosed, his vision in right eyes was 30% remaining only. This was almost 12 yrs back. His left eye was the savior for us so many years till 2018

I'm 61 years old, female. I recently went for a routine PE and when my labs came back, the doctor said "we need to watch your WBC". I was surprised and decided to do my research after looking at the details of the lab report. I almost wish I hadn't, because it wasn't just my WBC that was high

Waking up a sleeping colon
I have had this happen several times. Yesterday I had a call from a person who was going to stop by in 2 hours with their grandchild. Of course I was thrilled but also realized by house needed a big once over. I literally flew around, vacumning and washing the bathroom, etc. Lots of bending down which

Waiting for appointment - sudden hearing loss
My adult son suddenly lost the hearing in one ear, rapidly followed by vertigo and now tinnitus, which he describes as ringing in his head and now also a dripping noise. Has been to Nurse and GP and finally a referral to ENT.......but the waiting list is months. Any advice would be really appreciated

What is your best tech for hearing loss?
Apart from your hearing aids what are your best/indispensable technologies for day to day living with hearing loss? Cloudy Vision after IVOM / Injection
Good day, On Friday, I had my 3rd Vabysmo injection in both my left and right eyes. I'm 28 years old and have been a diabetic for 23 years. My prescription for both eyes is -0.75. During my last appointment four weeks ago, my left eye had 100% vision, while my right eye had 90%. After the procedure

Does anyone take pantoprazole with MtX?
During this weekend I have had a bad pain in my esophagus. I get that from time to time, probably due reflux caused by the prednisolone and PMR, as it is worse during a flare. I usually take pantoprazole a couple of days and it heals up fast (doctor's prescription). However - now I am on MtX since

How long from non-urgent to urgent
In January 2023 I was aware of tinnitus developing in my left ear only. Hair Loss on Warfarin
Hi all, I don’t post very often. I’ve been taking warfarin since February 2021 after having two mechanical valves fitted. I know that I will need to see my doctor about this, but I am losing my hair, and it’s noticeable now, especially at the front. Does anyone else have this? What can be done to

Paxlovid with Eliquis
What is the latest advice on taking Paxlovid for Covid if you are on an anticoagulant? Do you need to stop it or just be extra careful of bleeding or not take Paxlovid at all? I know you need to stop your statin drug while on it.

Day four
Well what a journey, day 4 and still no kick back from IBS. So far the foods that have triggered my IBS that I have tried again. Tomato sauce, crisps/chippies, gingernut biscuits, water, saveloys, marmite/ vegemite and wholemeal bread. All in moderation except for the bread, love my bread. Not a reaction

Abaris
Hello everyone, I'm still on the quest for wellness. I was wondering if anyone had tried Abaris which is a TRH . Quite new on the market I think. I'm piling the weight on as I can't treat my thyroid without reacting to the meds. I was looking further upstream at TRH. I live in the UK so probably wouldn't
