I had high cholesterol of 5.8 and high blood pressure, was put on atorvastatin, which gave me terrible side effects, had to come off it, was put on 5mg Rosuvastatin, had a little nausea and dizziness first two weeks, then nothing, no side effects at all now, very happy, I know a few people on rosuvastatin

Statins and coffee
I've just a read a line in a piece supposedly in the Daily Express that says coffee might reduce the protective effects of statins. I don't drink lots of it - usually no more than 3 - 4 in a day plus a tea of ordinary instant coffee plus the occasional small ground coffee from a coffee shop, plus a normal

A treatment’s effect on atherosclerosis
Greetings! A question on the topic in the title was asked by maresba14. One important response from Identiy addressed how atherosclerosis is a common condition in life even in those whose blood lipids are excellent. Nevertheless, doctors should evaluate their patients at least once in their lives

Statins
Has anybody with thyroid problems had bad experiences while taking statins? I think some of my adverse reactions may have been thyroid storms.

Statins and PMR

Hi. Hoping all are remaining as well as can be. I have idiopathic cardiomyopathy and a very irregular heart rhythm. Both lower ventricles are very weak. It is thought that this may have been virus or toxin related from many years ago and not discovered until it became noticeably symptomatic and diagnosed

Statins and PA
Could anyone give any information on statins and B12. I was advised that I should start taking these at a check up and B12 injection today. There can be various side effects to this treatment and didn’t want it to negatively affect my PA
