Is is Subacute Thyroiditis or Thyroid cancer?
Hi all, I just came across this website and I have really high hopes to get some answers reading others questions. Apologies for long post! So to give you history: Back in Nov.2020 I felt a little pain on the right of my neck but thought I pulled a muscle. I felt like I'm coming down with something.

Any help regarding NICE guidelines and best practice appreciated
Having a positive anti-
TPO
antibody is simply an indication of the fact that a patient with a positive result and sub-clinical hypothyroidism is more likely eventually to develop an underactive thyroid than someone who does not have positive anti-
TPO
antibodies.

I finally got a GP to listen
I thought I would share this as I finally had success at getting a GP to listen to me. What helped to convince them was: 1. A ticked list of symptoms using the Thyroid UK list https://thyroiduk.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Signs-and-Symptoms-of-Hypothyroidism-V1.1-.doc.pdf 2. An excel file with my

Thyroid testing
Hi everyone, I’m new to this group and to having thyroid problems. I discovered high antibodies in a blood test 6 months ago while investigating what turned out to be premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I have just tested again and they are still high, and my hair has quite drastically started thinning

TSH increasing but T4 & T3 improving as well?
I had my antibodies tested: TSH Ab <1.1 (range <2.0)
TPO
Ab <1.00 (range <5.50) Thyroglobulin Ab 2.5 (range <4.11). Anyway, I couldn't take the symptoms anymore and I started tapering down my dosage.

TPO test results-can someone explain?
My
TPO
antibody results came back as 222(above average as I believe average is 100 or below)I called the doctors and they say it's nothing to worry about... would only be an issue if the levels were 1000 and above(which is ridiculous!). My T4 levels are also slightly low.

Thyroid antibody testing
I notice there is another antibody, would that need testing too or would
TPO
results be enough. I thought of getting a private test done alongside for comparison which had both thyroid antibodies, is that overkill? Thanks

Are my TPO & TG results ok?
Hi everyone, My
TPO
and TG results look good to me (below 60) but then they have added the “comment”. My TSH, T4 and T3 were all fine and the comment was “euthyroid levels”.
