TPO

I did however find out that I had the
TPO
antibodies before I had RAI and they were sky high so that’s why I still have them but they mean nothing. So I said what now then??

How do I get my consultant to agree to increase my T4 dosage?
It wasn't until I had private blood tests for TgAB and
TPO
AB, which were both high, that a consultant started me on a trial of Levothyroxine 25mcg. They finally agreed that I had Hashimotos Thyroiditis.

Thyroid antibodies and levothyroxine
Hi, I don’t have any antibodies (that I know of, negative
TPO
test. I’m awaiting to seek clarification on whether or not TG has been tested) but I’m just curious - Do TSH levels take a longer time to drop when on levothyroxine when you have thyroid antibodies? Thanks.

Opinion on latest results please.
My antibodies, however, have increased from the last test in 2019 (
TPO
was 91.5 and TgAb 76.8) Can being undermedicated cause an increase in antibodies? I have put myself back on 90 mg Metavive as I thought my earlies results were OK but the doctor thought they could be decreased a bit.

Difference between autoimmune thyroid disease and non autoimmune
I had thyroglobulin and
TPO
tested. So I was wondering what the difference is? I always have below range TSH and just in range FT3 and FT4 so I always get the comment that my TSH indicates I should reduce thyroxine.

Hi, my first post...I'm new here...Hashimotos has just been properly diagnosed after years of struggling - looking for advice please
He responds that Hashimotos is diagnosed by
TPO
and mine is normal. Every piece of research I have done has told me that this is not the case, but hey, he’s the specialist and I am not, so what do I know and how can I possibly argue with my limited knowledge with an expert?!

This is why you should ALWAYS view your own blood results.
These are the results: July 2014 TSH 0.01 (0.35-3.50) FT3 6.4 (3.8 - 6) TRAb 0.50 (<1.00) Anti
TPO
ab 17.4 (<34) FT4 17 (8-21) So I was a little hyper even back then, definitely should have had follow up. There appears to be no record of it being passed to GP to investigate.

Pre-stage Hashimoto's?
I have read that sometimes in the "pre-stage" you can have the symptoms but not necessarily the raised T3/T4, TSH and
