I feel my PBC is getting worse and no one is listening
hi everyone, I haven’t posted in a while as things haven’t been too bad regarding my PBC and I was getting on with life, but these last 6 months have been awful. In the summer my LFTs spiked ALP was 236, itching through the roof, fatigue terrible, mood swings, feeling really low. The spike was caused

D-2 big day is coming
I have not written in a while, but been busy scheduling hip replacement. The stars are finally lined-up. I've delayed Ocrevus treatment so I can have surgery on Thursday. Can't wait to be on the other side: being able to get back on Ocrevus, regain mobility and move/exercise a bit more than I'm able

Knee replacement
Hello, everyone Am writing to ask for advise and insight regarding full knee replacement. Have any on the forum had a full knee replacement? I am due one in a little under 6 weeks. Having lots of reservations about going ahead because my health has taken such a battering in the last 3.5 years. Overweight

ENT diagnoses laryngopharyngeal reflux caused by hypothyroidism
Had a scope up my nose 🤢 at my ENT appointment today. I was there because I have a persistent sore throat and swelling in my clavicle pits, ultrasound showed extensive thyroiditis and cysts. MRI results not back yet. I have a photo of my inflamed larynx! Wanna see? Hopefully sharing this will help

HRT patches
Can anyone give an idea of what could be causing the following please? Taking estrogen patches - had a total hysterectomy - became even more ill with all sorts of symptoms that pointed to low estrogen. Patches are the solution, terrific, help in many ways, feel better than have for many years. But I

good news I think…
thank you to everyone who sent reassurance. The Gynaecologist I saw today is convinced my Ca125 results are related to something that isn’t OC. She based this on a past ultrasound that said ovaries normal. She thought possibly my thyroid nodules which are being investigated in parallel. My pains

Anyone had IgG food intolerance tested and successfully eliminated the offenders?
I know there's questions regarding the accuracy of IgG food testing but I had the test done out of interest because I've been considering going dairy free and/or gluten free. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in Oct 2012 but actually believe my issues were due to poor T4>T3 conversion. I'm waiting to

A letter has finally arrived! Trigeminy?!
Well, the ECG was on the 8/9 & the letter was dictated on the 30/9. It was then typed on the 5/10 & has arrived today. Ventricular bigeminy but the letter says trigeminy too?! Which appears to be an electrical issue with my heart? One consultant is more concerned with the electrical side of cardiology
