Angioplasty?
I'm treated at Addenbrookes and have just started taking
Tocilizumab
. The doctors have just started talking more seriously about doing angioplasty on my left sub clavian. I would be interested in hearing anyone else's experiences with this procedure. Thanks. Jane

I am starting
tocilizumab
via infusion next week. I've had lots of biologics without success including humira, enbrel and simponi. I'm hoping this will help as its my only remaining option at this time.

Tocilizumab trial
Hi, I was diagnosed 21 years ago, I'm 42 now. Last flare started around June and still struggling. I am on week 19 of the trial with the drug above together with hydroxy chloroquine. There has been improvement but still very stiff and painful to move. Still off work. Also struggling with isolation since

Does anyone have an experience of this drug? After 10 months of trying MTX and Sulpha (both of which helped the RA but had side effects that meant I could not continue to take them) I went for my first infusion last week. Hello, I have had RD for approx 20 years taking various medications but I haven't heard of
Tocilizumab
. I was wondering if anyone has any information on this medication and if it worked for them. I realize everyone reacts differently and what work for one doesn't always work for another.

Anyone on Tocilizumab
I have had RD for approx 20years, my consultant recommended
Tocilizumab
infusions after Enbrel injections stopped working, but I have yet to discuss this with anyone at the clinic. I have been on various other medication such as MTX, Hydrox and had to come off those due to side effects.

I wanted to ask those of you on tocs how you are given the infusion. I have been on it just over 2 years , i used to have a saline drip while waiting for my meds to be made up. I would then have my tocs which would take 1 hour then 30 mins of saline to flush it through. I went yesterday they have stopped
