Cigarettes and Ra
I am six weeks off my
tocilizumab
injections because of a six week chest infection six weeks of antibiotics and six weeks of a flare up. She the consultant came away with a statement. Did I know that cigarette smoking causes Ra. I was totally shocked.

Travelling with injections....
When I first talked to the hospital they seemed to think it would be OK for me to miss two of my
tocilizumab
injections. However I've just been today and they said I should definitely take them. Does anyone have any good ways of keeping the syringes at between 2 and 8 degrees whilst I'm away?

All this because I am unable to have the
tocilizumab

Tocilizumab and liver
Been on
tocilizumab
, infusions for 4 months, started in March, now self injecting. But my liver appears to be objecting. For the past 2 months I've seen the AST rise. I'm concerned that I'll have this drug stopped when it was the last option left for me

Tocilizumab infusions
Hi Shaz, I didn't come on the website yesterday as I spent most of it in bed. I had another flare up where every part or joint hurt so much I had difficulty getting out of my chair or off the loo. I found it much easier to get up off the bed. I hate being in bed as I like to keep moving. I think this

Tocilizumab infusions
Hi everyone, It will be 2 weeks on Tuesday since I had my first infusion and I am feeling really good. I just had one flare up with my right knee, very swollen and very very painful and that was after 3-4 days of the infusion. It only lasted the one day and the very next day it was still a little swollen

Tocilizumab first infusion
Hi everyone who has been following my infusion post's, thank you. I had my first last Tuesday and it went very well, no side effects. My blood pressure was higher than normal but I put that down to some anxiety being the first infusion. I was advised by the nurse to go straight home and rest for day

Which biological this time?
Today I was offered the choice of Rituximab infusions or
Tocilizumab
injections to replace the Cimzia that has stopped being effective after 6 years. Has anyone been on either of these drugs and if so how were they for you?
