My wife who is type 2 insulin diabetes who injects and tests twice daily has recently following a 24 hr heart monitoring investigation has had her Zemtard replaced with Bisoprolol. She has noticed a drop in her glucose readings when taking them since taking Bisoprolol. Has anyone else had this situation

Alternatives from Adalat Retard
My Grandma has been on Adalat retard 20mg for a very long time to manage her blood pressure. Since it’s been discontinued her doctors has been haphazard with finding her a new solution. She has symptoms with Nifedipress 20mg. Has anyone had a better transition from retard? If so which tablet?

Newly diagnosed with AF
Hi, new to this forum and newly diagnosed with AF, which shocked me, as I thought my palpitations, which come and go, where just perimenopausal related, which they reckon could be connected! Started me off on beta blockers but had a severe reaction to them so was taken of them, now on Tildiem twice

Immediate-Release Versus Controlled-Released Carbidopa-Levodopa

Will this tiredness ever go
I was diagnosed par AFib in April this year and given apixiban and Bisoprolol. After taking these I became quite weak and tired all the time. Eventually I felt as though I was going to faint and was taken back to hospital where I was told that it was the Bisoprolol doing it and to stop taking them.

Breathing issues with several blockers
Started on Tildiem 2 weeks ago, it dropped my BP too much, so I was swapped to Bisoprolol 1.25mg. I endured that for 9-10 days with terrible shortness of breath (+ quite low HR from being tachy but it stopped me having SVT) plus a whole host of horrible side effects that didn’t abate. I have mild ish

Fiery nerve pain, allergies or???
My medical story is complicated. A few days ago I was put on Tildiem for SVT prevention. It seems to have re triggered GERD (that I only just got under control 😫😔), but also what I thought was hay fever, but I’m not so sure. I took loratadine the earlier and it’s made no difference. I stopped the Tildiem

Tildiem lowered BP concern
Feeling very ropey today. Started Tildiem Sunday morning. My BP has gradually lowered and today it’s 98/71. I was put on it for SVT’s , not so much high BP as I have a history of lower BP (& before this med my BP was normal). I’ve felt giddy, nauseas & exhausted (although I have other underlying health

Anxious starting Tildiem for SVT’s
I’ve had SVT’s for many years. Made worse I believe by long term steroid use for bowel disease. The latest episode landed me in resuscitation Monday night after near two hours at home with 180Bpm. I know they can go higher than that. In the end I needed an injection (not adenosine as asthmatic), as the

Coming off clopidogrel. Hi I’ve just come off clopidogrel just over a week ago, I had HA with stent fitted in the LAD 12 months ago, been back into hospital twice in Feb as I started getting pain in chest, first time they thought it may be unstable angina, and put it down to HA last year, second time

Feel like a fraud!
I've been restoring an old cottage and enjoying the process. About 18 months ago I noticed I was getting tired more and more easily, then I started getting minor chest-pains during some of the more physical activities such as carrying heavy materials etc. They were always minor. They always passed quickly
