Fiery nerve pain, allergies or???

My medical story is complicated. A few days ago I was put on Tildiem for SVT prevention. It seems to have re triggered GERD (that I only just got under control 😫😔), but also what I thought was hay fever, but I’m not so sure. I took loratadine the earlier and it’s made no difference. I stopped the Tildiem on cardiologists advice yesterday (lowered my BP too much and all the side effects). Since I started that drug on Sunday It feels like there’s this slightly burning crawling tension feeling in my head, up my nose, down my arms and in my throat. It can make me cough too, so I thought may be my asthma (or the bloody virus which we suspect I had in March but who knows)? I had these l symptoms a few weeks ago and it all calmed down. I put it down to the GERD/hay fever/asthma which could have been triggered by the virus, possibly as I didn’t have them acute before now. I also seem to be getting extreme reactions to smells, spices, odours from washing liquids etc, which I also had a few weeks ago. It aggravates my airways and feels like an irritant. My daughter looked up fibro and this nerve pain feeling seemed to correlate. Im just in a big soup of distress and horrible discomfort that won’t abate. I’m barely sleeping due to palpitations, shortness of breath and pretty bad anxiety. I’m feeling very upset and worn down by it all this afternoon.

Unfortunately, there is no way of getting able to tell you what might be causing it - you might want to have a chat with local pharmacist (if you think it is related to new meds) or arrange an appointment with your doctor

It sounds like maybe a reaction to the new meds? If it’s any consolation, Covid stops your sense of smell so prob not the virus. I’d go back and talk to the doctor about your meds.
