Heart Rate Drop
Hi all, my heart drops to 39 or 40 once daily or so and I’m getting worried as don’t have cardiologist at the moment. I’m on Eliquis and Tildiem (60mg twice daily). Is this common? Also my HR went to 197 the other day then returned to normal. Confused. Thank you for any help.

Swollen/stiff achilles on ramipril?
Hi all, first post here, I'm 31 and was diagnosed with hypertension a couple of months ago and have been on ramipril 5mg while they try and work out what is wrong or causing it (if anything). The last month or so I have had horrible stiff and sore achilles, sore to touch and slightly swollen, when I

HHT and AF
I had an ECG last week which showed an irregular heartbeat, GP prescribed Tildiem 60mg twice a day. Referred me to Cardiologist and for an echocardiogram. My added complication is that I have HHT which means I have daily nosebleeds and also have bleeds in my stomach so have to take iron tablets for anaemia

Hi new to af
Hi I’m 48 had a chest infection/asthma was in hospital 10 days as heart rate was high and was told it may go away but looks like it hasn’t, my mum had it same age then went on to have a massive stroke so as you can imagine I’m scared. Although I’ve been reassured medicine has come a long way since

I'm new here so hope someone will be able to help me with Coronary Spasms
I was diagnosed with Coronary Spasms approx. 5 years ago. There doesn't seem to be a trigger that I am aware of. They come in blocks so I may be fine for a few weeks then I could have them 3 or 4 days running (sometimes 7 days). The usually occur in the evening or wake me in the night. They come in

What next ?
Hello, I would appreciate your opinion re: the remainder of my AF journey and, how to manage same! I am 76 years old and have what I consider low level Atrial Fibrillation, this is in comparison to many of my AF friends on this forum. All of my vital signs, blood pressure etc, are within normal range

Medication side effects
I am taking aspirin, ramapril, clopidagril and tildiem. I have been on these for 6 weeks. I have noticed my hair is falling out, my nails are breaking and in the last week 2 of my teeth have broken off. Could this be due to the medication? Or am I lacking in something.

Supra ventricular tachycardia
Hello I’d love some advice and for anyone to share the same experience as myself. I’ve had SVT all my life, 50 years now. I had many tests and investigations when I was a child and was offered 3 things...live with it, medication or surgery. My parents decided against medication and surgery, so I’ve

What do I do now?
Wondering if some of you wonderful people might offer some advice: Had Paroxysmal AF for five years and on Tildiem and Riveroxaban, but became breathless about four months ago - can hardly walk on the flat let alone up hills (and I live in a very hilly place). I eventually got referred to a Cardiologist

30 Years and counting
I can really relate to your 24 Year thing. I’m about 30 years in now. Aged 64. Are you in permanent AF? I have been since 2001 since overdoing it at the Gym. Magnesium really helps. And I’m on Tildiem (Calcium Channel blockers). Had Digoxin for a year and it does help. As you say we often are own best

Uncontrolled AF
I was put on Rivaoxaban which is an anticoagulant last year for AF along with Zemtard. I had a routine blood test recently and because my FBC is way out and I probably have a serious bleed somewhere I now have to have an urgent colonoscopy. My GP has told me to stop taking Rivaoxaban immediately and

Levodopa Medications and Vitamin B6
Introduction
Vitamin B6 is a cofactor in over 100 enzymatic reactions. In the process it is converted from the active form, principally P5P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate), to the inactive form, pyridoxine. An excess of pyridoxine is toxic because it occupies sites that require the active form. For this
