Dear Members! My husband is not doing well on Madopar. Our doctor recommends Rytary but it is not available in Hungary, so we have to order it from abroad US, Canada or New Zeiland. Can you give me source/pharmacy where can we get it at lowest price? We will solve somehow the delivery. thank you!!!

Any thoughts?
Hi, just seen my Cardiologist`s report from his people that help him. Before I waffle on, my main worry is that I am asymptomatic with afib. I see posts about going to A&E after being in AF after so long etc. Am I supposed to monitor anything, as I don`t have a clue apart from being breathless that

Afib breathlessness
Firstly, sorry, I don`t know how to add to an old post so started this. To try and keep it short I had a cardioversion for Afib which worked for a few weeks. I was later put on bisoprolol which I really struggled to walk any distance and upstairs (Asthmatic). Many kind people on here gave me good

rytary
my doctor just gave me these to try. I’m taking sinemet now, 25/100 3 times a day. I haven’t started the rytary yet because it’s only a 5 day supply until it’s approved by my insurance. How do I switch to it from my other medicine and what should I expect? I’m 2 yrs into my diagnosis and I’m not really

Back on meds
I've always had difficulty believing I had PD. So 5 weeks ago I stopped taking Rytary. During the 5 weeks I had periods that led me to think I was having withdrawal symptoms. It's only been two days back on the meds but so far nothing much happening. Along with Rytary I've been taking Linzess

Rytary withdrawal?
What are the signs when you quit taking it? I stopped two weeks ago. I just wondered if I needed it. So far no PD signs: No stiffness or bradykinesia or balance problems. But I never had any signs except for a positive DAT scan. I assumed there would be withdrawal similar to withdrawal

Neck pain caused by dyskinesia.....
About 6 months ago, my dyskinesia started getting worse, and I noticed I was starting to get a lot of neck pain. I went to a neuro PT who said she thought my neck pain and stiffness were being driven by my dyskinesia and that I needed to reduce the dyskinesia before we could improve my neck. So I tried

Madopar CR v Rytary
Morning all. Just trying to get my head around the difference between these two? Also, Neurologist has me on Madopar CR during the night and immediate release during the day. I’m trying to work out what the purpose of immediate release is? Why not CR twice a day? Thanks guys 💊😀

New and current hope for Parkinson's Disease
Sorry, we didn't find She at first was told she had PD and we went through all the usual emotional grief associated. Then she was told not PD but a "Pitched nerve" and was given a block. Then she continued having dystonia to left leg. Was told to follow up with a movement specialist for possible botox

Afib has reared its ugly head again big time, for me.
After years of calm, when I only had an occasional flutter , Afib started again in April following which I had three or four episodes lasting a few hours. On Sunday I was sitting down reading and it started again, expecting it to last just the usual six of seven hours I was still in Af on Tuesday

A new symptom?
I was dx'd 3 years ago. I take Rytary. I've had a resting tremor in my dominant arm for 4 years. I have lousy handwriting, I don't have stiffness or slowness or balance problems. For the past few days I go to bed at 3AM but I wake 3 hours later. I might nap for an hour in the afternoon.

Levodopa Overmedication – Common, Unrecognized, Devastating
Dystonia – muscle tightness – is a common symptom of Parkinson's. It can also be a symptom of levodopa overmedication. The only study I could find of this phenomenon was done in 1999 and received very little notice from the medical community: http://bbs.neuro.or.kr/space/journal/1999/9904010.pdf As

PAF and tiredness
Hello all, I have had PAF for three years now, I am on Tildiem ,Apixiban, Avorstatin, Lansaprosol and Pizotifen. My problem is I feel so tired and lethargic. I am struggling to do all the things I want to do, even going for a walk takes it’s toll as my hips hurt quite a bit. Does anyone have any ideas

Can anyone advise me please
I had my 3rd ablation 3 days ago and my heart rate is fluctuating and feels like a flutter. My EP told me in recovery that he wasnt hopeful that it had been successful, he discontinued flecanaide because they are not working so only on Tildiem and Endoxaban. I have read all the info on recovery but
