Hi, I have Coronary heart spasm, I’ve been on Tildiem 200 since Feb this year when I was diagnosed! I had HA last May 19 to the LAD had stent fitted, I had pain continuously, after many visits to the hospital with chest pain, all results were clear, I eventually had an angiogram in Feb this year, which diagnosed CHS, I was still getting chest pain! after speaking to my cardiologist he increased the Tildiem to 300, I was still getting chest pain, it made my ankles swell like balloons, I’ve had Tildiem reduced back to 200, Dr introduced chemydur 30xl nitrate, this has given me huge headaches! Has anyone else experienced these headaches? I’m told they should subside. Ruth

The ' nitrate head'. Nitrates can give you a horrible headache when you first start taking them.
Stick with it, it does get better.....honest. It can take upto 2 weeks to settle down.
Drink plenty of water as the nitrates can make your blood pressure drop.
If your headaches don't improve tell your cardiologist as there are other medications that can help vasospastic angina.
