Started on Tildiem 2 weeks ago, it dropped my BP too much, so I was swapped to Bisoprolol 1.25mg. I endured that for 9-10 days with terrible shortness of breath (+ quite low HR from being tachy but it stopped me having SVT) plus a whole host of horrible side effects that didn’t abate. I have mild ish asthma and I’m on a steroid inhaler. A cardiologist on Monday suggested stopping the Bisoprolol as he felt it might be affecting the asthma. So I did Tuesday, although I did question him on stopping cold turkey. He said it would be fine as its not been a high dose or that long (but then with the Tildiem I’ve had something for 14 days or so)?!! The last 3 days I’ve had SVT and a very tachy fluctuating HR and frankly feel a total unwell mess. The SVT this morning took me to hospital by which time the SVT had dissipated (& they ran a few tests as Im having tight spasms/constriction in abdomen and lower chest that seem to be getting worse and more frequent). I started 40mg Verapamil this afternoon after returning from hospital and now have horrible side effects (not dissimilar to Bisoprolol) - numb nerve pain in feet, legs, mouth, chills, plus again the horrible shortness of breath. It’s leaving me completely dysfunctional and very distressed. I just don’t know how to keep going like this.

Sounds very tough. My Dad has been on a similar merry go of cocktails.
He was also on bisoprol 1.25. They took him off that cold turkey and now he is also tachy-however his clinical situation is likely very different to yours.
I don’t have the answers, but very much share your anxiety.
I hope someone will come along to give us a better insight.
Have you got a cardiology review in the pipeline? How are you self monitoring presently ?
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Sorry to hear about your father. I’ve had sinus tachycardia for quite a few years but I’m ever so jumpy now. I don’t quite have a cardiology review apart from maybe with a GP. I’m using a pulse oximeter at home and I don’t really know what else to do to monitor myself. I have no idea how I will sleep tonight 🥴😫.
