Generic Drugs
There are different formulations of this, with normal and modified/slow release and he told me that he always provided
Tildiem
Retard
if the slow release version was prescribed. Adizem is not quite the same apparently.

On prednisolene but have been given Tildiem Retard today for suspected heart problem.
It says in the leaflet that it can increase the effects of methylprednisolone? Is that the same Pred I am on for my PMR?

Statin drugs - Yeah Right!!
I'm a couple of months off 70 and being a diabetic was prescribed statin drugs to correct a reasonably high Cholesterol reading. I started getting pain around two years ago, in my arms and shoulders, so one of the doctors put me on Brufen retard 800. I thought that would fix a bit of the problem. It

4th December 2013 Ablation update
After having the ablation my heart rate was constantly going high and this was caught on an ECG at my doctors . As per the instructions from the hospital I emailed this information to the arrhythmia nurses at the John Radcliffe. Firstly they took me off flecainide - heart rate was still playing up.

Adalat retard instead of Nifedipine ?
I have been on Nifedipine three times a day for about two years for Raynaurds and had no side effects as far as I am aware, unless my lack of appitite or anxiety is one. But my doctor has told me I won't be able to continue with Nifedipine as it is no longer available, I have been given Adalat retard

Simvastatin and Tildiem
What's this all about? Received a memo from my GP stating that mixing Simvastatin and Tildiem can cause muscle aches and pains and they're switching me to Atorvastatin!! How many times have I told them that it was Atorvastatin that caused my muscle weakness?? I know having Fibro doesn't help but do
