GP listened!
I discussed the Endo consultation in more detail.... how he just said by looking at me I have Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
... my concerns over finding the right treatment to support my conditions.

Hyperthyroidism symptoms come and go, Please help !
I had gone to many endos they all think its postpartum
thyroiditis
and it will go away by itself. So I have to wait and see. My big problem is that my symptoms go for 2 to 3 months and come back.

A great reply regarding a Thyroid patient from Dr Martin Scurr
But an infection in the thyroid - usually a viral
thyroiditis
- can also be a trigger. An underactive thyroid is treated with a supplement of the hormone - a small, white tablet of what is, nowadays, synthetic thyroxine. Previously, dried animal thyroid extract was used.

Toddler ranges - is this possible Hypo
I have autoimmune
thyroiditis
(also grandmother and brother do). My 1 1/2 son has severe constipation and slight failure to thrive. He had various tests done which included Thyroid Tests. Paediatrician says they were fine. When I pushed for numbers he said TSH was 8.9 and Free T4 17.5.

Not sure what to think about the Endo appointment
He said I don't need to see the photo I can see for myself that you have Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
! I looked puzzled and said no one has ever tested me for thyroid anti bodies ...to which he replied 95% of patients are positive, so no need!

Do I have Subclinical Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's Thyroiditis or am I just a hypochondriac?!
Throughout my teens I was very thin, ate a lot but never gained weight. Then at 19 I gradually gained a stone over about 18 months and then another stone over another year or so. Last summer I weighed a little over 10 stone, now a year on I weigh over 12 stone, am completely exaughsted and literally

Currently on 100mcg levothyroxine and being brought of meds for 3weeks to see if I have been misdiagnosed, dreading it! What can I do?
I've just had my 2nd baby she's now 10 weeks and the Endo consultant wants to take me off my meds 100mcg to see if I was misdiagnosed, as he thinks I may just have had
thyroiditis
. Latest bloods show that I'm over medicating and was meant to be going back to 75mcg.

Hypothyroid/hashimoto's and pregnancy?
I have Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
(autoimmune thyroid disease) I've encouraged her to ask midwife for full thyroid function test and thyroid antibodies. Midwife referred her to consultant who said "NO" as it doesn't effect pregnant women.
