Hi Great news, received a letter this week following surgery that no cancer was found in my thyroid which the letter said "was reassuring" which was quite strange wording. I would like some advice please as I have a post surgery appointment with the surgeon on 14 November and I really would like to

Endometriosis and Thyroid problems?
So im now on the urgent list for a
Thyroidectomy
as there is a high chance it's cancer. I'm absolutely gutted as its not even a year since my extensive lap. The symptoms of Thyroid issues seems to cross over alot with Endo, particularly the fatigue.

Do I still need Levothyroxine
For background info - I had a subtotal
thyroidectomy
approx 20 years ago due to having a goiter. I now have 2 goitres on what remains of my thyroid.

Status Update
Hello my friends, It's been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I would update you on my current status since my partial
thyroidectomy
3.5 months ago. (Man has it been that long already) Well, I am doing much better, not 100%, but much better.

Help please with sensation of something stuck in my throat and choking post oesophagectomy!!
This is known as globus sensation or globus pharyngeus and seems to be more common amongst
thyroidectomy
patients or people with hashimto, etc.

Thyroid Cancer Finally Confirmed
I think the radiotherapy might be the greatest source of anxiety, because it seems like something that really restricts what you can do, and I don't know if it makes you feel ill or if it starts the same day as when I have the second
thyroidectomy
(this is probably all online, but I'm getting information

1st post! Help with test results/Graves
Consultant says I will definitely have to have RAI or
Thyroidectomy
. I am seeing him in 2 weeks and he says I will need to make a decision. Not keen on either really. I have no TED symptoms but heard that RAi can trigger TED?

Introducing T3
Never felt like that in four years since I got ill on Graves, though before
thyroidectomy
I suppose I've had high T3 levels due to overstimulated thyroid, regulated by anti-thyroid meds though.

Help with blood test results
I was diagnosed with graves in the late 90's and subsequently had a sub total
thyroidectomy
. I have been taking thyroxine ever since. As usual took a while to get my dose right and I've been taking 125mg for years now.

Partial or total thyroidectomy?!
I've had a FNA on the largest one which has given an equivocal result and was therefore inconclusive so my endocrinologist has recommended I have at least a partial
thyroidectomy
(right lobe), however my surgeon has given me the option of a full
thyroidectomy
.

Should I take Levo before blood test?
Hi all, one week on from my
thyroidectomy
and slowly getting better. I have a blood test in morning and wondered if I should take my thyroxine as usual in the morning or wait until after blood test. I read somewhere previously about fasting beforehand but wasn't sure about taking medication?

Need help please understanding blood results
I’ve been hypothyroid since
thyroidectomy
40 years ago. I also have other conditions that are unstable, including Addison’s disease and ulcerative colitis and others. I don’t absorb meds well due to the gut disease. I’m just so completely exhausted all the time and have low bp and heart rate.
