Living mainly in Italy, I had a scan done on my neck about 18 months ago, after the
thyroidectomy
, (scan? never offered one of those in the UK), and the endo said that he could see residual remains on each side of the thyroid.

Hello all, I have had Graves’ disease for many years and had a total
thyroidectomy
in Feb 2020. As per my previous post I was advised it would be beneficial to get private bloods done.

Having anxiety I believe caused by thyroidectomy and not on the right hormone balance.
I just joined this community, I am in the UK thyroid community. I have a lot of anxiety about the doctors that I go to and get expelled from their clinics three times now. Before I had the Graves disease, and had my thyroid removed, I was a very positive person who accomplished many things in my life

Changed my T3 and received blood results today....not good!!
I had a
thyroidectomy
4 years ago. My doctor recommended T3 with Syntrhoid. It has worked until I traveled to Spain and had to order my T3 from Greece. It seemed to work perfectly until I recently ran out and switched to Mexico Cynomel, since I’m living in Mexico now.

How important is T3 compared to T4...?
I hate that this seems to be one of my biggest problems post-
thyroidectomy
(especially since it's so unpleasant and TMI to talk about), but I really haven't been the same since TT and it bothers me every day.

BICHECTOMY DUE TO EDEMATOUS FACE
I am interested in this surgery because my edematous face no longer disappeared, in addition to the
thyroidectomy
problems, self-esteem goes down the drain due to the appearance transformation.

Update on oncology appointment yesterday
We also talked about the fact that after
thyroidectomy
some people just aren't the same any more and sometimes it's about managing the energy levels. She said she prefers to rule out what it isn't to find what it is.

Graves thyroid eye disease (TED) post-thyroidectomy?
Hi all, new here and would appreciate any info you may have re this issue. I've had Graves and associated TED for the past 5 years, and not wanting to be on meds any longer, and also to hopefully help the heart, I scheduled TT for end of 2020. Here is my question: since Graves is the immune system attacking
