Hi ive been on 5mcg of t3 for about 2 wks but dont feel much different with the usual aches and pains. Is it ok to increase to 10mcg and take together with my thyroxine about 6am?

Too soon!! One of the biggest mistakes when titrating T3 is to rush the process, it frequently ends in failure and withdrawal of the prescription.

I'm now on high dose T3-'only because I have a form of rareThyroid Hormone Resistance....and learned the hard way.

Some people cannot tolerate even 5mcg to start with, as you have managed. Well done!

After 2 weeks you could add another 2.5mcg then wait to find out how that feels. After a further 2 weeks if OK, then repeat ie now10mcg. Wait 2 weeks then test again...the results will point to the way forward....

You may only need a small dose so that test is important

If you feel overmedicated, stop, return to previous dose and hold that.

It's a long slow process so you need to be patient!

Listen carefully to your body and be aware of any signs of overmedication...I used to keep a diary of progress, recording every change

We are all different and need to discover what works best for us as an individual....not what someone else needs!

Listen to your body!!

Rushing frequently leads to failure...it's a long learning curve, but time well spent.

Good luck
