My Endocrinology appointment review no help! and my 1300 tpo just a small blip quote from endocrinologist (see my previous post)
My endo didn’t say anything to help I don’t have hypothyroidism and told her how unwell I am basically she doesn’t know what’s refused to help me and said she will repeat test in a few weeks . She didn’t care about the results of private bloods they mean notching and tpo doesn’t mean autoimmune thyroiditis

fatigue gritty eyes freezing cold
hi, I am very fatigued and have very gritty eyes and I am freezing cold very out of breath and have a fast heart standing up. Before I approach my GP what tests do I need to check my thyroid? Will they only check TSH? Will a blue horizon gold test tell me everything I need to know? My last test was

Reducing thyroxine from 100 mcg to 75 mcg
I posted a few days ago about my doctor reducing my thyroxine from 100 mcg to 75 mcg. I managed to speak to another doctor who said to take 100, 100, 75 for a month and then 100, 75, 100 etc for a month and then test. Does this sound ok? Not sure what dose they’ll know to put me on though even if the

menopause and thyroid health
I’ve tried to Google looking for some information, not sure if I’m just not searching using the correct wording. Does anyone have any research articles that addresses any effect menopause can have on our thyroid function? A thought crossed my mind, so bear with me. Some of us get diagnosed with

Hello, just considering a plan B really... Poured my heart out (via the online form) with my local GP Surgery today and received a text response saying need to re-do bloods, so I booked this soonest I could get (2 and half week for just appointment with phlebotomist) so no doubt pending results would

Help interpreting my test results
Hi. I have been struggling with long covid that’s better now but just did a recent lab and wondering if it looks ok. I still have some lingering symptoms like temple pressure on one side and joint pain, and vertigo. My TSh w/reflex to Free T4 went down a bit from 1.08 in Dec to .85 currently. My SGOT

How to split thyroid erfa in two doses?
Good morning, I have been taking thyroid erfa for more than a year now. It has helped a lot. Higher body temperature, higher pulse, no more constipation, no more cold chills, very good free T3 levels (5+), no more heart palpitations. However, I am still very tired and it gets me the most around lunch

Totally confused
I had a partial thyroidectomy about 2010. My thyroid levels were fine for several years but then started dropping into hypothyroidism range. I was put on Levothyroxine at 50mg and was ok for few years. Tested Jan 2023 was ok. Tested early Feb 2024 and was hyper not hypo so my gp reduced the levothyroxine

TSH increase
My TSH has increased slightly even though my dose hasn't changed and my T4 is exactly the same. Is this normal? My TSH is suppressed due to thyroid cancer My results in August were T4 - 22.5 and TSH 0.13 Now my T4 is 22.5 and TSH 0.45

I’ve just been for thyroid bloods T4 (whenever I ask for my thyroid blood forms from my gp receptionist I get given different aspects it’s never the full range). So originally it was 34 (normal being 12-22) then

Change dosage?
I’m currently taking levothyroxine - 75 4 days a week and 100 3 days a week. Latest test results are T4 17.3 (range 11-21.2) and TSH 2.43 (range 0.27-4.2). These numbers seem much more in line with similar numbers this time last year and I’m having all the same symptoms. Last year my dose was increased
