Hi everyone ❤️

So here is my report from endocrinologist : date on letter June 24th 2024

CATHERINE ...[ that's not my name btw it's KAREN 😡] was referred to the endocrine clinic for consideration of starting a natural thyroid extract. Her bowel symptoms are worse on synthetic thyroid medication, both T4, T3 , in the past her TSH is 45.6...[ THE PAST!!!, 😡 try may 31st 2024 when I got my bloods done😡 god these endocrinologists will make anything up]

She does not want to continue on a synthetic form of thyroid hormone, natural desiccated thyroid is not licensed medication for treating hypothyroidism. It is not affordable for her to source it privately, I advise her to get an urgent referral from you for a second opinion from an endocrinologist in the NHS who has experience of using this medication.

END!!!!

gp contacted me via message on Monday June 24th

" I understand from my colleague you are still struggling with your symptoms , we are as yet to receive the letter from the endocrinologist clinic, however if you have concerns please book an appointment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.. as I stated on my last post ,appointments are as rare as hens teeth😡 and I've tried countless times , obviously she should have received this report by now as I received it today.

So does anyone think she should respond to this report and contact me ASAP???

I'm not daft, I will be going down to the surgery in due course [ nothing will get done today] and I find if you contact them on a Friday, by Monday it's either lost or forgotten about 😡

PM only....to this 👍 I'm trying to aquire some thyroid medication to tide me over been on rosway labs but need to ask, do I need a prescription to obtain the natural thyroid medication?

do I need a prescription to obtain the natural thyroid medication?

You will need a prescription to get Armour brand NDT

It’s the only NDT that’s lactose free

Yes thanks for your reply ❤️, looking on the site when it said prescription I thought I'd need to get a prescription off an endo...which would be impossible 🤣 I believe I need a consultation with roseway then they provided the prescription 👍

Yes - as I understand it - if you haven't a prescription -

you first need to have a consultation with the supportive doctor working within the Roseway Pharmacy set up who then raises a prescription for you which is then actioned ' in house ' and the medication sent out to you.
