Just to update you all since the private blood results. I decided to write to my GP and set out from the start my thyroid journey. To be fair they called me in for another appointment and she decided to seek advice from the local Endo department. They asked to see me and I'm due there next week. I would like to know why my thyroglobulin antibodies are sky high and obviously I need to deal with the osteoporosis having stopped the alendronic acid.
Any tips on how to make the most of this appointment.

How much levothyroxine are you taking and which brand
You need to retest thyroid and vitamin levels again after working on improving low vitamin D and folate
How much vitamin D are you taking and are you taking vitamin k2 as well
Are you also taking separate magnesium supplement in afternoon or evening at least 4 hours away from Levo
Are you now taking a daily vitamin B complex in morning after breakfast
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 5-7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)
I stopped every apart from the 125 mg levo ,having gained 2stone and at my wits end . The flakey GP suggested I could, it's after that I then wrote letter saying I needed help as can't ignore Osteoporosis.
Thanks for taking the time to reply Chemist seems to change brands quite regularly. On accord for 100 and crescent for the 25.
The appointment is Monday so probably not enough time now to retest. I did think Endo would asked for bloods to be checked before the appointment but guess that would make too much sense !! I just hope it doesn't turn into another box ticking exercise saying levels are all within range 🤔🤔
