LED lights safer, more effective in producing vitamin D3 than sunlight. This vitamin is very important for Diabetic.
Research published in Scientific Reports shows that light from RayVio's 293nm ultraviolet (UV) LED is more efficient than sunlight at producing vitamin D3 in skin samples. Tyler Kalajian and his research team, led by Dr. Michael F. Holick, Ph.D., M.D., and supported by Boston University School of Medicine

Spices and inflammation
Hi all, I use a number of spices, turmeric, cinnamon and more, and found this article which gives scientific/medical evidence as to why they work. Since using spices, together with Vitamin D3 I have not had any chest infections for two and a half years now, following a winter with 5 infections and hospitalisation

Reversal of Cognitive Decline. Food for thought.

Hello, I've just joined.
Hi, As you can guess I have PMR, I was diagnosed early in the year. My doctor started me on 15mg prednisolone, 2 x 600mg Accrete D3 and 70mg Alendronic Acid. The latter is taken once a week. I'm now down to 6mg prednisolone and with luck hitting 5mg in a little over a week. I take the predn half in the

Ashwagandha
Hello- I was just wondering if taking my evening dose of Ashwagandha will interfere with absorption of other supplements such as vitamin K2, and vitamin D3. In other words can I take them all at once? Or rather within the same hour is that OK? Thanks Jill

Tight forskin
I’m in my teenage years and my forskin still won’t go back, I’ve been to the doctors been referred and had multiple creams, my penis is always sore and my forskin is tight and dry. The doctors won’t give me a circumcision for some reason even know I’ve had many problems, they won’t do anything apart

Update
Hi All Been to first app at Hos for scan results. Good news nodules not suspicious. Consultant said most hypos have them it's common. He said FT3 is no use to me or him. Agreed TSH of 1.5ish could get to 1 but didn't really agree about getting the Ft4 to mid range. Agreed I have auto immune same as my

Thyroid Blood Test Results
Hi All, I've received my thyroid blood test results back today from Medichecks. I have had the full one done with RT3 on. In June the Endocrinologist dropped Levo from 200 to 150 and introduced 12.5mcg of T3 and I've not seen him since, I was suppose to see him in August but appointment never came so

Brands / fillers in T3
I haven't started on my T3 journey yet; excitedly awaiting delivery. I have read many posts and many replies on Thyroid UK and one thing I've pick up is that different manufacturers produce T3 with different fillers; some fillers causing issues. Which brands have which fillers please and why can't they
