Just ask your GP or urologist prescription for steroid cream. It may prolong your frenulum. It won't melt it away. We all are different down there. If your frenulum is like 1 cm wide and "meaty" it's very hard to prolong it with steroid cream.
What about sex life. Your foreskin may stay behind the glans on intercourse. That is quite normal situation. Best thing is you can clean yourself easily down there.
You need to ask it about your doctor. What are the possibilities to prolong your frenulum. Next step if cream won't help you is frenuloplasty or frenulectomy.
Hi. I had a circumcision to solve phimosis.. DO NOT DO THAT!.
In hindsight knowing what I know now about tissue expansion .{basically I am growing another foreskin using restoration methods}
Any phimosis is curable by tissue expansion {stretching} with or without creams .
Thing is you will have to stick with it over time to cure your condition, it takes a while .
\There are gadgets like NOVOGLAN and PHIMOCURE that are available but are useless imo.
If I could do it all agin I would concentrate all my efforts on making a device to hold the foreskin open using plastic screws and such that could be worn all day to maximise the tissue expansion {Mitosis} and solve your problem.. Hope this helps and good luck..
TBH I’ve never heard or read of anyone successfully stretching their frenulum with or without steroid cream. Based on my own experience I doubt if it’s possible. As I recollect the frenulum doesn’t have the elasticity that the rest of the foreskin tissue has. By all means try and hopefully prove me wrong however you may find it’s an uncomfortable and fruitless exercise.
Although I was able to retract I had a short frenulum and a simple pain-free procedure to remove it worked well for me. A local anaesthetic and only two stitches and I could retract fully thereafter with no discomfort when having sex.
Whilst occasionally a tight foreskin (phimosis) may be relieved by stretching, the frenulum cannot be stretched in that way. The only way to cure frenulum breve is by minor surgery.
You can have the frenulum removed with a frenulectomy or (less effective) simply divided with frenuloplasty.
You should be aware that, because the wound will remain inside your foreskin (where it will be kept moist and out of the air), it will take a relatively long time to heal. It may also become infected due to the waste materials (such as smegma) under there with their propensity to attract harmful bacteria, etc.
Your third, and best, option is actually to go for a circumcision which will cure the frenulum breve as well as giving you added proven benefits by way of health and sexual satisfaction (particularly for your partner).
Hi Man, I used steroid cream and it does stretch skin but maybe not enough on it's own. You don't have to have the frenulum removed, they can surgically make it longer. Is it just the frenulum though? If you can't pull the skin back to clean under sounds like more than that? If the tip of your foreskin is tight that can also be stretched. Do see your Doc, think this will be easily sorted
I believe frenulum breve can prevent retraction. If your frenulum really is that short, you certainly could be unable to retract. Phimosis is when the ring at the tip of your foreskin won't stretch enough to slide over the head of your penis. From your description, you certainly could have frenulum breve, but again, none of us here are qualified to make a diagnosis.
