I'm new here - getting desperate!
Around this time also I was experiencing fluctuating symptoms of sex hormone /
testosterone
issues such as low libido and hypogonadism. My
testosterone
gave a normal reading (17.4nmol/L) so my endo dismissed this as psychological.

High Homocysteine Level / Folate & Phosphate Deficiency
All my hormones had fallen below the normal range DHEA /
Testosterone
/ Free Androgen Index, and upon investigation (MRI) they found a micro adenoma (Pituitary Tumor- benign). I also have primary Lymphedema in my legs, and my lymphatic system is sluggish in legs.

Looking Back
In 2020, I expect my PSA to remain low until my
Testosterone
rises from castrate level. If the change follows the same pattern as 9 month of ADT I had before and after Cyberknife, it could take up to nine months. Unexpected things can happen and I may find myself with castrate resistant cancer.

Disease progressing after chemo. What now.
Testosterone
is <3. Xtandi and zytiga have failed. Had chemo with docetaxil and carboplatin this summer, 6 cycles. PSA went from 18 to 6.8. Last chemo was October. PSA now 20 with evidence of progression in lymph nodes and bones. Lungs and liver clear. Need to decide next treatment.

OCD and low Gaba levels
Found very low Gaba, high estrogen, low
testosterone
and high histamine levels. Wondering if anyone has had OCD improvement with boosting Gaba, balancing neurotransmitters and hormones?

Bipolar Androgen Therapy [BAT] & CRPC - Sam Denmeade, Hopkins.
The hypothesis for BAT is that men with CRPC could respond to rapid cycling between polar extremes of supraphysiologic and castrate
testosterone
levels, whereby rapid cycling disrupts adaptive autoregulation of the androgen receptor.

Post ADT treatment
However now that I am no longer taking treatment, I am wondering how long it will take for
testosterone
to return and if anyone has taken supplements to boast
testosterone
level. My doctor said it could take months even a year to return to normal.

Please help!
And now, I feel both of those things immensely and I just can’t see a way through this nightmare, my TSH has come down to 7.6 from 96, I’m on a small dose of
testosterone
, but still don’t know what’s the symptoms of hypothyroidism and what’s menopause? I just feel so utterly alone.
