Orchiectomy for prostate cancer
The urologist offers orchiectomy ( removing both testicles ) to stop the production of the
testosterone
and stops the growing of the tumors. He just started taking hormones pills and the urologist says this will be the same results but with no side effects comparing with the hormones.

A question to those with ovarian cysts (not PCOS)?
I don't have PCOS as my
testosterone
levels are low, and all tests have come back normal so they are just that - non-cancerous cysts which cause me absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Would appreciate Your Thoughts
I just has an ultra sensitive PSA and it was <.01 with
testosterone
of <7. The plan is when my PSA reaches .2 I will go on Xtandi. My question is, in many of the excellent posts on this forum it appears the MO is being very aggressive and customizing treatment to a specific patient .

Post MO Visit Anxiety
Current PSA is <.01 and
testosterone
<7. My MO's attitude is very unnerving to me. His attitude in essence is " You have high risk cancer, when biochemical recurrence happens we will scan and see where it is and treat it. In the meantime there is nothing to do.

ANASTROZOLE 1 MG TABLET
I forget the 2nd one & also I’m + for some
testosterone
thingy-I forget those details though. Anyone know the progression rate expectancies and/or side effects? I’d love to see my kids graduate college & have babies; biggest thing on my bucket list—I’m ok if it doesn’t happen—it’s just a wish!

Is BAT repeatable?
The
testosterone
phase lasted about 8 months, the rechallenge lasted about 6 months before failure. The repeat was: stop bicalutamide, wait a month, then start T injections.

Prostate cancer G9 local lymph node positive. Pos margin.
What I am thinking of is a rotation of: Caso/Duta Estrogen Supraphsyiological levels of
testosterone
. Perhaps 2 months of each one? Benefit is that I'd have good or at least decent libido a third of the time. But I don't want to sacrifice health for libido so first I wanted to get opinions.

Exercise and hair growth question
Could it also be that exercise for males improves
testosterone
levels and maybe somehow this is a hormonal result? Or it could all be in my head and it’s just a coincidence? 😅 Does anyone have some idea what’s going on? If it’s anything at all? Is there a connection or am I just being hopeful?

Xtandi cost
My
testosterone
is low but my PSA rises every month. My MO wants to Rx Xtandi (Enzalutamide). My part D Medicare supplement says it will cost $2400 the first month, and $600+ every month thereafter. I still work and have an income, but that cost is shocking.

Can someone explain what my Blood Test Results mean?
The Dr told me that
testosterone
was far below average and I started TRT since, but it looks like LH and FSH are also low, which would explain the low
testosterone
. Does the test show below average LH/FSH?

Low Testoterone and Hypothyroidisim. Does thyroid medication correct this?
Ive done some research which suggests there is a correlation between low thyroid hormones, especially low T3, and low
testosterone
which now makes sense to me as we recently discovered he is homozygous for the D102 mutation I was wondering if anyone knows from experience/research if
testosterone
will
