Low Testosterone - Help with going private
I have finally been diagnosed with Low
Testosterone
after being around the low end of normal for years. Whilst I want the problem sorted I want to make sure that the doctor is open and willing to prescribe TRT if it is necessary.

I started a High-
Testosterone
clinical trail that helped with some PC but not others, PSA took off. I started Xtandi but that only lasted 2 months before PSA rise. After the Xtandi failed it was back to chemo, this time docetaxel.

Lab results variation on Testosterone
I had two MD appointments, and each MD ordered a
Testosterone
check. I took both orders to my usual lab to get a single blood draw for both lab orders. The standard T test done by the onsite lab showed T = 262.

Does Hormone Therapy for mPC Affect Immunity?
Researching and thinking on my own, I have to think that a reduction in
testosterone
would probably NOT affect immunity.

So what about men on

This really surprised me, I expected my

Anybody here have experience with different types of anti-depressants??
Citalopram apparently inhibits
testosterone
production and also functions as a muscle relaxant, both obviously not very good for my sport....On top of that I was sweating bullets, constantly getting dizzy and feeling faint and had a terrible loss of appetite.

Gleason score increase, now what?
Wondering if he should be taking treatments to lower his
testosterone
? This was not mention yesterday at his post surgical follow up and catheter removal. He has a 3 month PSA check should we bring it up then as he heals from surgery or ask about it now?

Help interpreting results 😞
I have Cushing's disease which is in remission, I also suffer from low
testosterone
which I supplement and have diabetes insipidus. I had the left half of my pituitary gland removed about 5 years ago due to the cushings.

I do have low
testosterone
(I’m female just to be clear) so I suspect that’s not helping but, does anyone have any idea what’s happening? Even if I need to look down the avenue of another disease, I’d be grateful if people could give me any suggestions.

Adding testosterone to your treatment/Any Neuroendocrine PC guys out there doing well?
A few weeks/months ago, I read a post regarding "adding/taking
testosterone
" to their PC treatment plan. One gentleman was listed in Miami and I believe working through the Sylvester Group.
