Confusing prolactin results rant and how do I find an endocrinologist privately?
Found out my prolactin was too high at (939mU/L), slightly elevated
testosterone
and also a haemorrhagic cyst on the left ovary and my right ovary the sonographer said is stuck to the back of my uterus! So frustrating!

Ending ADT Vacation
On June 1 my PSA was 1.10 and
testosterone
163. Today my PSA was 0.42 and
testosterone
130. The nurse practitioner told me that the drop in
testosterone
is within normal range of fluctuation. I just wonder whether the drop in PSA was due to Casodex only or fall in
testosterone
had a role.

On Lupron/Zytiga/Prednisone for nearly 1 YR - Stage 4 w/Bone Met
Testosterone
was 650. Now after 1 year, I'm at 0.02 PSA and <5
Testosterone
, both immeasurable. Prior PET scans revealed that I have 4 rib/shoulder bone lesions which are quite small in volume. The prostate was recently treated with 25 days of EBR. I have a PSMA PET scan coming up next week.

First PSA jump since dx, how concerned should I be?
Testosterone
still <12 All other panels normal less glucose at 111. I’m really hoping that it’s because I went off the diet for 9 days to enjoy a cruise? Was that stupid? I let my MO’s voice “saying eat for pleasure” ease the guilt during the vacation. Result was + 10lbs and bmi from 23 to 28.

Symptoms and reactions after B12 injections
I get blood work done regularly and the things that have stood out is low DHEA for my age, low normal
testosterone
, my B12 from 2018 to now has gone from 620 pg/ml to 311 pg/ml. Declining in a straight line fashion each year and test.

ACCELERATED MIGRATION AND INVASION OF PROSTATE CANCER CELLS AFTER A PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY-LIKE CHALLENGE: ROLE OF NITRIC OXIDE
However,
testosterone
, an androgen, also increases NO concentration and survival of prostate cancer cells, suggesting that NO’s mechanism in androgen sensitivity and resistance remains elusive [1,2,181,182].

Catabolic Wasting, Cachexia and Sarcopenia - Life Extension Foundation, Section Update: 03/2021
As most men with PCa are oldER and may be on some form of
testosterone
-blocking treatment, like ADT, odds are they are also struggling with the muscle-wasting and weight issues that comes with both oldER age and loss of T.

Can grumpiness, mood swings, etc, be directly attributable to levels of testosterone due to Prostrate Cancer?
Having recently being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, I have found bad mood swings, prickly as a porcupine, not nice to be near symptoms more frequent.

Smoother skin From Lupron? Chemo?
Could this be the lack of
testosterone
? From the chemo? It's certainly not an issue, but curious. Thanks.
