Today I had Lupron 3 month shot ending a vacation of one year. I had been on 50 mg Casodex for 4 weeks before this Lupron shot. Originally, it was planned for a 2 week on Casodex. Unfortunately, 2 weeks extended to 4 weeks because my wife got Covid 19 after a trip to London.
On June 1 my PSA was 1.10 and testosterone 163. Today my PSA was 0.42 and testosterone 130. The nurse practitioner told me that the drop in testosterone is within normal range of fluctuation. I just wonder whether the drop in PSA was due to Casodex only or fall in testosterone had a role.
One thing is apparent that my metastasis is likely to be entirely hormone sensitive nearly four year after start of ADT treatment.
