How long off NDT before blood test for levels to return to non supplemented levels
Hi, I’ve been on NDT for a few years self treating due to lot of hypo symptoms, things have got worse and I’d like to know what levels are now without treatment. How long do I need to be off NDT to see this?

NDT customs declaration?
I have approached a supplier of Thyroid S they are going to put: 'For the customs purpose, the parcel will be sent as a “gift”, declared its content as “Health Product for Personal Use” and put a less value. " Has anyone who has ordered from Thailand changed the instructions or been charged duty?

28 day versus 3 monthly Zoladex side effect -
I am wondering about the different side effects experienced by any others here on 28 day monthly goselerin (Zoladex) implants as opposed to the 3 monthly version. I have had 5 monthly implants and note that the fatigue and muscle aches seem to subside somewhat 2 and a bit weeks after the implant. It’

Has anyone had a hysterectomy early 30s
I'm 31 years old I've had 3 surgeries in the last 8 years most recent surgery 2021. I know a hysterectomy is not a cure but I wanted to see if anyone had had one early and felt it was actual worth it. I don't have any children nor do I want to try to have a child. I've tried every hormone treatment possible

Orgovyx denied by insurance, husband has heart failure
My husband recently had RALP and unfortunately the PSA didn’t drop and PSMA scan revealed a few lymph nodes in the pelvis. He will be having 39 sessions of radiation and ADT. He has early stages of heart failure and the doctor wants him on Orgovyx due to fewer cardiac effects. Our insurance has

rising psa but scans are clear
I had brachytherapy 6 years ago for prostate cancer, Gleason score 6. PSA went down to under 1. Now it has risen over the years to 10.8 but all scans, PET, CT, and biopsy of prostate are totally clear. My urologist want to put me on Elegard (hormone therapy) that will make my quality of life terrible

Have you obtained thyroid medication without prescription? Admin need your feedback please. Both good and bad!
In an ideal world, everyone would get the thyroid medication that they need on prescription from their GP, endo. private practitioner etc. Whether that be for a short term trial, or for long term quality of life. Sadly, in the UK at least, this all too often doesn't happen. We know that members of

Pain near groin, but no PSA detected?
MyGuy is having severe pain low, just left of his groin. It’s not always there, but today it was bad for quite a while. He had a bone scan of his pelvis and an mri last June and nothing was noted. His three PSA tests since June (with the last in January) have been undetectable. When pain was mentioned

To treat or not to treat
In 2017 and 2019 I had SBRT to two bone metastases identified using a PSMA scan. No other sites were identified. By March 2020 this had caused my PSA to drop to virtually undetectable and I decided to come off ADT which I had been on (with some breaks) since April 2011 after RRP and RT to the prostate

Not reacting well to T3
Hello All, I wonder if there are people here who have not reacted well to T3? This is the second time I'm trying to take it. First time, it was about 5 years ago when I needed to raise my T3, it was at 20% range. I took just 5mcg of compounded T3 as per my Doc advice and started to feel anxious,

Interesting paper summarising state of art (2022) for ADT
The paper below gives a useful summary of the history and state of the art (2022) for ADT. No mention of BAT though. A few snippets from the paper are given below. Evolution of Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) and Its New Emerging Modalities in Prostate Cancer: An Update for Practicing Urologists
