NDT customs declaration?

I have approached a supplier of Thyroid S they are going to put:

'For the customs purpose, the parcel will be sent as a “gift”, declared its content as “Health Product for Personal Use” and put a less value. "

Has anyone who has ordered from Thailand changed the instructions or been charged duty?

I thought medication was fine for personal use?

Medication is allowed for personal use. But if the package content value is truthfully declared, it will be subject to VAT and carrier charges on arrival in the UK.

Maybe what is put on the declaration could also be to do with rules in the country of despatch. In the UK, we have to agree and declare that packages we are sending don't contain certain prohibited items etc. UK customs may still open your package from Thailand to check the contents.

That's how most of the suppliers send it. Mine always came with a tracking number. It will not be charged in the UK.

Hi, I experienced the same thing in January when I ordered my from [a company]. Arrived in 8 days and no problems with customs. I would be confident using the same source again when needed. Hope it all goes ok for you.
