Why wait?

Cialis works better for me.

I have not had any T for 15 months, we continue have sex multiple times per week , same as pre Lupron.

I subscribe to the use it or lose it paradigm

Others on here have similar experiences

Thanks for the great encouragement.I possibly thought myself into a worse place than I was in.This was partly due to reading some fairly negative incorrect information generally.

You’re exactly right. I was given that advice (use it or lose it) 25 years ago and my prudish upbringing failed me. I could not give in to my lust although every conceivable sexual offer came my way but I resisted. My regret is not listening to that advice back then. Coggedhall, I urge you start your daily dose of Cialis or Viagra and use your stiffy any way it pleases you without regret.

Sorry Scout4answers but I’m the least tech savvy male you will ever know. I tried to do the message link but could not get it to work. It’s no big deal to meal because glitches and such have always always been my story. I was just trying to affirm your suggestion to the comrade wavering on Viagra. Please stay strong and be well.

It’s definitely worth it. My husband started straight away when he finished 6 months of Lupron & bicalutamide and has had success within 2 wks.

Best of luck!

Thanks I was wondering if it was too early after the ADT to start but I’ll give it a go now.

You are the absolute best encouragement to answer the question as to take it or not. Tell your husband for me, he’s a well blessed man. I know he knows that.

Of course give it a go. It’s quite possible you will notice no change. Take it anyway. Of equal importance is to rehab. Viagra, cialis etc often don’t work without stimulation (especially in older men), but do in tandem with it. The makers really should use the slogan ‘it works as hard as you do’

Thanks recently researched what’s available.Belatedly just found out about vacuum pumps.Chased my doctors up eventually got one.Been using one for about a month for rehab.Reccomend them totally to anyone out there who's keen to get everything going again. Will now contact local doctors for some viagra or cialis if viagra doesn’t work.70 years old and in total 24 months of ADT plus 37 radiotherapy sessions so let’s see. I like a challenge😄

Excellent. I hope you’re also getting plenty of exercise, including strength training. It helps your T recover and is vital for every part of the engine.

Great have been seriously weight training 5 days a week as recommended by my oncologist.I go as intense as I can to stimulate my hormones.Play competitive table tennis also for fast movements and cardio.Had massive side effects from ADT put a lot of weight on hips, stomach, face and chest.Getting back to looking like a man if nothing else will be really encouraging.

hubby swears by pump for rehab too.

He used his daily for 6 months after RP. Surgery 2.5 yrs ago. Then 33 pelvic radiation sessions and 6 months Lupron & Adt completely took his interest & ability away. That treatment finished in January ‘23 and thankfully within 2 wks it was like someone hit a switch and interest & ability came back. Might take a little longer for you Cogg but try keep those nerves oxygenated.

YES, YES, YES!

I was told that zero testosterone equaled zero libido. Maybe so, but zero libido does NOT equal zero desire, or zero action. I've posted on this, and I'm cognizant of not wanting to brag, but my lovely wife and I have sex several times (5-7) a week, and I'm anxious to get to it today.

- Use the pump from day one to maintain your erectile tissue

- Use cialis or viagra to maintain your erections

- And use trimix for a super pop (every other day)

Have yourselves some fun

Coggeshall in reply toCarlosbach

Thanks for support what is Trimix

Carlosbach profile image
Carlosbach in reply toCoggeshall

Trimix is an injectable product to improve blood vessel circulation in the penis. After receiving a prescription you will have to get the script filled at a compounding pharmacy. You are not supposed to use Trimix every day, so I take viagra on the other days.

Coggeshall in reply toCarlosbach

Thanks I’ll check Trimax out.

Oh..... all the shit they don't tell you! Another thing learned the hard way (no pun intended)! I don't know what your sentence was but the absence of nocturnal erections during ADT can really take its toll! Muscle atrophy applies to that one as well! Use it or loose it doesn't have to be! At a minimum, low dose viagra night time to start then see what you get back. Took me over a year after the last shot to see some T return!

Good luck brother!

Thanks it was a sheer fluke that I realized I needed to get a vacuum pump and viagra. There is quite a lot of help available from the NHS in the U.K but it isn’t advertised or promoted very well. You have to make inquiries and be as proactive as possible. This forum is vitally helpful.
