Total Thyroidectomy last week
But I was scared because of the
Synthroid
stories on here and t4 in general. But- It is like someone has given me something I have needed my entire life. I know that makes zero sense as my thyroid numbers were fine and it is not supposed to make a difference for weeks.

IBS flare up after Covid vaccine
I found startling improvement and have decided to hold off taking
Synthroid
prescription until these changes no longer work. I have hesitated getting the vaccine as mandates didn’t affect me and I just didn’t know how my body would react given my multiple food allergies.

BESREMi 4th dose
My doctor has scheduled me to see the endocrinologist and advised that it's likely they will put me on
Synthroid
; he'll of course defer to their opinion, but wanted me to be prepared that it's a possibility. I see them on 4/19 and will update if y'all are interested.

Swollen nodules body recovery, confused thyroid?
The doctor said to stop np it's not working and go on
synthroid
I am wondering if the heavy meds I was on messed up my thyroid. Maybe my body system is trying to get back to normal. I prefer NP over
synthroid
. I believe I do need t3 with t4.

Synthroid and heart palpitations/racing
I switched from levo to
synthroid
, and felt hyper with the same dose (37.5 for 5 days and 25 for 2 days). I had palpitations, insomnia, nightmares. Decreased the dose after a week myself, felt better, then slightly hyper again.

T3 versus t4
For example they say this Can I get optimal on just T4-only like Levo or
Synthroid
? Hardly ever, we have experienced or observed as patients. And even when someone gets close, it’s not uncommon to still see problems, sooner or later.

Thyroid Medication Generating High Glucose Blood Levels
After my total thyroidectomy I was started on
Synthroid
. Immediately my Blood Glucose level increased and I once was considered pre-diabetic. The only thing the doctor said was “that happens with some folks.”

Is my FT4 too high to add T3?
She’s keeping me on the .100
synthroid
but moved me from 7 days to 5 days and two days to .88. I decided to split the T3 in half as I’m not sure how I’m going to react to it. My plans are to take my
synthroid
and a half of the T3 at my usual time, 6:30 am.

Switching between levo brands and adjusting the dose
I switched from levo to
synthroid
with same dose and almost immediately felt it was stronger since I felt hyper: had high heartrace and insomnia. I was supposed to take 37.5 for 5 days and 25 mg for two days.

Abnormal Thyroid Panel
I am on
synthroid
50mcg. My doctor has upped it to 75 but I'm afraid my FT3 will go over the high mark. My FT4 is above the mid point but not too much. Any thoughts? I have been on and off thyroid meds over the last 7 years. Somehow it has adjusted back to normal at various times. thks

What to do about T3 anxiety?
Started with 25mcg
Synthroid
, over a number of years settled on 80 mcg Levothyroxine compounded SR with 12 mcg Liothyronine. Had thyroid lobectomy in November 2021 and my new endocrinologist switched me to 88 mcg Tirosint and 5 mcg Cytomel.

Switching from levo to synthroid dose adjustment.
Does anyone here had problems switching from levothiroxine to
synthroid
? I started with the same dose and felt terrible heart racing, insomnia, nightmates. Felt better after reducing the dose, but now feel pins and needles all over my body.

Tirosint who have you used to get this prescription in the uk?
Has anyone uk based found a Dr or endo that can prescribe Tirosint or
synthroid
levo brands? I know by the list there are pharmacies that do prescribe it in the uk. I am just unsure who you go through to obtain this prescription?

7 weeks after partial thyroidectomy and request help with test and levo dosage.
Should I take the
Synthroid
, insist on the generic (which is cheaper) or wait and see if the other half of the thyroid can someday produce enough hormone? Before surgery the TSH was 2.5. This doctor considers anything up to 5 as normal.

Should you take T4 and T3 at the Same time of Day?
I started taking 5 mcg of T3 on 1 Oct along with my previously prescribed 100 mcg of
Synthroid
. Just had new labs done on 1 Dec and while my TSH lowered from 1.0 to .19 and my T3 and T4 levels are also lower. My RT3 went higher. I’m also having stomach issues and pain in the right flank.

Any Strategies For Controlling Blood Sugar While Taking Thyroid Meds
Switching to Tirosint-Sol for better absorption and yes unwise it was at a higher dose (
Synthroid
was 100 mcg and Tirosint and Tirosint Sol was 112). Now I have neuropathy, face flushing, and serum blood sugar levels between 93-99.
