Update

I am an idiot lol. Booked a call with Doc this morning 8.10. Normally they are good and usually ring on time. At 9am I thought strange no call. I rang surgery and got through in 2 mins which was a miracle. Was told after I explained about my call not had one that is was a booking for face to face. I didn’t realise. I called in before and asked them to apologise to her about the mix up. I decided to look on my online app and actually they changed it to face to face which I couldn’t believe it. So pleased to hear this. It wasn’t an emergency it can wait. I go on holiday Wednesday next first time going out of town since pandemic then apparently she goes on annual leave..

Better than driving 30 miles to the hospital and realising you were a month early cos you thought the 7th month was June.... when you know the 7th month is July, but the cogs in your brain slipped...

Or like me, didn’t read the date for a cardiologist consult and turned up a full YEAR early.

I mean, who makes appointments a year in advance? Lol

I work in a hospital and increasingly 12 month follow ups are becoming more common. Yet when a patient turned up recently, yes 1 year early for an appointment, I had to check as I thought it was our mistake….

Mine too I got one from my surgeon in June for a my next checkup June 2025
