Oesophageal Sphincter
My wife had gastro-oesophageal cancer 12 years ago and had
surgery
to remove the cancer. Thankfully all was successful and she leads a very normal life. As one knows, post
surgery
one cannot lie down flat as the oesophageal sphincter has been removed thus causing acid to come up from the stomach.

self-inject intramuscular vitamin B12
My
surgery
does not really support that, so I just buy supplies from Germany. However I do think that my GP should allow me to do my own as I have been trained to do the injections for giving IM to my wife for her rheumatoid arthritis.

Brachyboost and PSA progression free survival question
I thought it was much higher and that this was the reason for people recommending brachytherapy boost for high risk over
surgery
. Is this a typo or is this the case? I will probably reach out tomorrow to clarify with her office if I can, but curious if anyone knows the answer. Thank you!

Various Questions
The first 2 of those weeks I was in hospital having
surgery
for something else and recovering with opioid painkillers which removed the need for anything else. The 3rd week I started gabapentin but I don't have the levels right yet as I am having some break through feelings of RLS.

Help please
I was told I had DIE.After
surgery
I fell pregnant and 8 months after delivery had the Mirena coil. I've never been pain free since but as I'm now 47yrs and hormones are fluctuating I'm struggling again.

Unconfirmed ECG
I'm in my 20s so quite young but have had previous open heart
surgery
in 2006. I have normal blood pressure although slightly elevated, probably due to being overweight and unfit. I haven't heard back from the GP yet as the test was 2 days ago. Has anyone had this?

GP/Specialist appointments
I want to see a GP to ascertain whether or not I need to change my medication, Montelucast has been great in that it stopped my annual bouts of bronchitis, but I wonder if it has ceased to work, but I also want to see a GP or preferably a specialist to discuss possible treatment/

Incidentals on CT, Rheumatologist problem
I asked my GP
surgery
about it. Their response was that they aren’t trained to read CT scans because they are GP’s and to go back to the person who ordered the scan. I spoke to him yesterday about another matter and he was extremely brusque and said he’d see me in October.

Test results. Can you advise please.
After great advice on this forum regarding my thyroid nodules, I requested from my GP
surgery
the same tests as are provided in the Blue Horizon Golden Thyroid Test. The clinician seemed to want to help and I thought almost everything would be tested.
