Hi BellaBe,

I had 2 brain mets surgically removed in 2021 they were about 8 cm big and I had a midline shift due to the size. I recovered from the surgery very well with no cognitive or mobility side effects.

I am happy to give you more information if it would be helpful.

Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.

I have 4 brain mets which I had SRS to in 2021. It was pretty much a success but I’ve had ongoing slight progression with the right occipital met and they are now thinking about removing it surgically. My lung cancer is currently under control so the one met is my issue. The thought of having brain surgery really freaks me out so I was hoping for some more information to hopefully reassure me.

Thanks again for replying x

Hi, I have had the same brain Metz removed twice in one year, it suddenly grew again to the size of a golf ball, I seen th surgeon one day and he operated the next day, I recovered quickly and have only had slight side effects, memory issues and numbers, which tbh was never my strong point. It’s growing again so I’m on my 3rd chemo to try and slow it down. Good luck warrior
