periods after stopping mini pill
I was getting just night sweats before my
surgery
but they seem to improve after so I thought it was my ovarian cyst and had them just a few times while on the pill, but this is another level!

Best Way to Post a Follow-Up or Update ?
Just wondering how best to post an update concerning my father's experience with episodes of psychosis after emergency
surgery
for a broken ankle? I don't know if people will more likely read it if I make a new post OR under the comments. My original post was 2 months ago. Thank you!

My nose bleed story!
The last one worried me before my
surgery
appointment was due because it lasted for 20 hours and just wouldn’t stop. A and E and (after a wait of 6 hours but that’s not bad compared to some poor people) had my nose cauterised. Thanks to everyone who kindly replied to my post.

Do infections cause endo flare / worsening endo?
I’m awaiting
surgery
for removal of endo on uteri sacral ligaments and remove ovary from being stuck to the bowel. Are we entitled to a free Covid booster on the nhs for endometriosis?

wound care
It’s been 4 weeks now since my bypass
surgery
. All is going fine. When is it ok to use soap and water on my chest wound or have a bath? Up to now I have been rinsing in shower and patting dry. It is healing fine.

Knee massager with red light
Has anyone with osteoarthritis in knees try a personal knee massager with red light instead of knee
surgery
? If so did it work?

swelling around DBS battery 5 weeks after surgery
It’s been 5 weeks since my battery placement
surgery
and when I woke up this morning my battery site is puffy. The incision has healed and looks fine. No redness or fever either. I’m not sure what caused this. I called my surgeon and sent pictures and they are going to see me Monday morning.

Mitral and Tricuspid valve failures.
Surgery
is at least 3 months away. I had a list of questions to ask him but on hearing this news I went into shock, I was trying to process what he told me. He said if that valve has also gone then its very complex
surgery

Dry eye medication
For several years since eye
surgery
I have been prescribed eye lubricants. The prescriptions always say Thealoz Duo Gel yet I have always been given the Thealoz Duo UD even when I questioned this several times. Recently I was given the Gel form and nothing else.

max inhaler dose?
However, having phoned the
surgery
today, as my asthma has worsened and I’ve also lost my voice, a letter hasn’t yet been sent from the hospital, which led to a debate as to whether this was ok. Can I just ask if anyone else has been given similar advice.

When you don’t feel like it… but you do it anyway… and it’s good 👍🏻
He raced off ahead for the final few minutes and I managed to put in a 6:10m/km pace for the last 250 metres, which is reminiscent of the pre-knee
surgery
best 5k pace! So all in all, a really good run. We showed grit! 🥳

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING GANG 🙏👍🏼
Rozy had
surgery
about ten days ago for lipomas. One on her side was two pounds 😱 she had eight total removed that added up to about 4 pounds total. The big one yesterday decided to fill up and burst braking out staples. Oh boy, what a mess for this one arm bandit.

Trigeminal Neuralgia
After many months of trials with corticosteroid, assuming this might be sinus related, the latest MRI shows that a year after
surgery
(Gamma Knife), the tumour has been pressing on the Trigeminal nerve.

Function of COPD nurse at GP surgery
Ive been struggling with Sob for the past two weeks. Maintenance inhaler Trelegy doesn't seem to give me relief. Booked an appoinment with COPD nurse for assistance as I'm exhausted with struggling to breathe. At the appointment COPD nurse said I should speak to the GP . She offered to change my inhaler

Advice on lump
Also had the
surgery
to remove goiter. I went to the doctors, with this lump, also one mirgraine after another, went to the doctors, saw the nurse the first time, showed her the lump, which is level with collar bone, middle of it.

Hypogastric nerve involvement
I had my consent form signed on his part for
surgery
, collected my bowel prep and antibiotics for
surgery
. But still no date. He wrote in a letter after that he'd rather do the
surgery
sooner rather than later. Feel like I'm close but still yet a million miles away.
