advice on results please!!
Where do I go with this, the private tests say one thing and the GP
surgery
say another. I will be making an appointment with my GP and try talking to her and will also ask for my results so I can see what miracle happened in these few days except me feeling worse.

Unexplained pain in the mornings:
I will need to renew my prescription soon anyway, so will contact the GP
surgery
to do that, but getting an appointment is not easy. Any suggestions? This forum is a godsend - Thank you!

B12 prescription cancelled by pharmacist
Last week, I received a text from the pharmacist at the
surgery
. She has said that as my levels are now normal, I should in future purchase B12 over the counter. She has removed B12 from my repeat prescription list. I will now have to pay for medication that I would usually receive free.

Feeling very hopeless at this point.
We went for many many 2nd opinions,
surgery
or radiation? finally chose radiation as all doctors said it had spread already and would need radiation anyway after
surgery
. Treated with Snuffy Myers in Virginia until his retirement. He was great. Husband on lupron since beginning.

HIPEC
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December, I’ve since had 3 cycles of chemo (to which I’ve had a good response) and will be having debulking
surgery
soon. My surgeon has said I am suitable for HIPEC.

Knee surgery or cardiac ablation first
Also t2diabetic, sleep apnea (stable) .Really concerned about having the Knee replacement
surgery
with afib and other complications that ensue. Considering an ablation first and then knee
surgery
later next year. Any insights/experiences most apprciated.

Do I need an Oncologist?
I was not interested in
Surgery
so the Urologist referred me to a Radiation Oncologist. After the radiation treatments were over I went back to the Urologist to continue the Lupron treatments.

Cataract surgery with AMD
Am having cataract
surgery
on 23rd October in right eye first. I am short sighted and have agreed to have sight corrected at same time. I am now worried about wisdom of this as think it will highlight distortion in vision and will have to have reading glasses for the first time in my life.

Bowel resection with total hysterectomy
I have
surgery
planned in Feb/Mar to remove a section of bowel, then do the total hysterectomy and I’ll be left with a temporary stoma which will be reattached 3-6 months after the first op. I’d be keen to hear from anyone who may have had a similar procedure - what was recovery like?

Does this look like lupus rash?
I’m going crazy wondering what it is and it’s got at least 2 GP’s confused at my
surgery
. Any idea’s would be appreciated but I’m not going to change the current “treatment” before I speak to GP again. Thank you.

Various Questions
The first 2 of those weeks I was in hospital having
surgery
for something else and recovering with opioid painkillers which removed the need for anything else. The 3rd week I started gabapentin but I don't have the levels right yet as I am having some break through feelings of RLS.

Hubbys assessment and now me. (Menopause and liver???)
I can see that he wouldn’t cope with
surgery
at the mo so we are ok with the results. The reason for not posting sooner is because I’ve not been well.

I have been diagnosed Costachondritus as a result of sucessful Keyhole heart surgery. Looking for advice....
Am supposed to be building up my heart post
surgery
so this is conflicting advice. Though could look at lower body activities to promote cardio strength I was wondering if Active 8 complete Joint developed by Dr O Connell, GP, might help me recover from the injury?

My cancer journey-
I had
surgery
and several different treatment protocols. I’m now facing my 3rd recurrence and about to decide, under the guidance of my wonderful oncologist, which treatment will be next. I feel fortunate that I’ve never suffered a lot of pain and that there are a lot of new treatment options.
