Fostair & antihistamines
Started Fostair 100/6 (two times, twice a day) a few weeks ago & having some sinus trouble. Really bad post nasal drip causing me to cough and my chest to feel rough. Is it OK to take Loratadine along with Fostair? Tried saline nose spray / lots of water etc.

Sonohysterogram? Anyone had this?
I’m surprised a search just turned up no results for this procedure. Maybe there’s another name for it? It’s where they fill the uterus with saline before performing an ultrasound. My doctor claims it’s not painful, that you might just get some cramping, but I’d like to hear from women who have actually

Update from appointment
Evening all, A little update from my post the other day I was so anxious about seeing this new rheumatologist! I took my notes which he scanned over (not sure he read) but I used them to help me explain everything he confirmed it is lupus and diagnosed the Raynaud’s - he was mentioning maybe a bit

Simple advice needed please :)
Hi Some of you might remember talking to/advising me in the past. I have recently discovered I most likely have Hyperparathyroidism. All the blood and urine tests confirm it. Just waiting for a referral and imaging. In the background, I am dealing with the impact I think it has on my hypothyroidism.

THE BENEFITS OF TAURINE ON STRESS
I recently found some interesting info re: Taurine, an amino acid that can be missing in the brain or lower in people with neurological disorders with extreme anxiety or stress. I've been taking it at night and was just told I could take more of it without harm. Severe stress uses up Taurine in our

Order of treatments?
Bit of a basic question but when it comes to inhaled treatments, I know the order is supposed to be: bronchodilator mucoactive treatments chest clearance steroids etc. I’ve been on the same regimen for a while but I’m a bit confused because my steroid inhaler is a combination inhaler so it’s a steroid

Peeing after circumcision
Hi all, I'm on day 12 since my circumcision. I'm 54 and it was a shock ! I still have some swelling around the head and skin but so far not much pain other than itching. A couple of questions - I think the head and urethal opening was badly swollen and I was really struggling to push pee out for the

Cholestrol and CKD
Has anyone noticed increased cholestrol with CKD? If so, did it/you correct & how? My 64-yr old mum's total cholestrol has steadily increased by 37% up to 7.4mmol/l (range max 5) in the past 3 years. We now believe it may be due to kidney disease in her sole kidney after having a cancerous one removed

Colomycin query
Hello all, I'm new to Colomycin and wondered if you had any tips on how best to mix it with the saline solution to minimise the amount of time you have to swirl it so it all dissolves. I've tried a number of ways and there's always a residue left which takes 2-3 minutes to dissolve. Taking the Colomycin

What to say to doctor
Hiya! I take lithium for bipolar, have been in it 14 years now. It has an effect on your kidneys. My last two reading were 55 and 56. My nurse said nothing to worry about. I don’t even know what this means. I googled it and seems to mean stage 3a ckd. I have to go back for more blood work, urine test
