Thyroid
I don’t have any symptoms that really tell me I need to be treated so I’m not too concerned but tonight I’ve read up that not having a good thyroid number can effect the baby and even
stillbirth
. Should I chase it up?

Want to TTC again
I’m 29 and had two pregnancies which both ended in a loss in the last few years, one was a miscarriage and one was a
stillbirth
. Is there still hope out there? I’m riddled with worries.

Blood clots, pre eclamsia in first unsuccessful pregnancy. Now looking for a ray of hope in second.
I had a
stillbirth
last year at 24 weeks gestation because of early severe pre eclampsia. Later developed extensive bilateral dvt all the way up to my heart. The doctors said it was an acquired thrombophilia. I am on blood thinners and still residual clot burden is left in my IVC.

Experiencing
stillbirth
left me with a thin endometrial lining, but I conceived with 7mm. I was recently diagnosed with adenomyosis. I am a therapist and scientist and used up all I have to research on the matter.

Could endometriosis have caused my son to be stillborn?
Plus the more I think about it I wonder if endometriosis can cause
stillbirth
because our son’s death is unexplained, he was completely healthy and my pregnancy was low risk. Does anyone have any experience and can advise?

4 weeks post embryo transfer a few hours of bleeding, no gestation sac on scan
I did bleed for the first 11 weeks of my previous pregnacy, also an ivf pregnacy which ended in
stillbirth
at 34weeks. My clinic and local hospital wouldnt scan me because of covid policy's unless they suspect ectopic, so i paid for a privet scan yesterday.

Sad news - Sensitive, trigger warning
I’m not sure where I fit in now, infertility and
stillbirth
is a nightmarish combination to deal with and we seem to be in the minority!

Birth after 40 - first time mum - induced?
Doctor recommends I’m induced around 39 weeks due to higher risk of
stillbirth
in later pregnancy. Getting induced seems it can be a longer, more painful labour that is more likely to need forceps, ventouse or emergency C-section.

Hughes syndrome antiphospholipid syndrome
In other patients, late pregnancy loss –
stillbirth
– is seen. Another pregnancy complication of Hughes syndrome is IUGR (intrauterine growth retardation).

Advice
I did have a
stillbirth
in January and all the symptoms happened a week after I delivered her so all doctors say it’s post pordum. But I had a binge a week after that bc I couldn’t handle emotions. And no doctors will take me seriously about my drinking.

Pregnant SLE Patients Discontinue Meds When They Shouldn't
Since lupus primarily affects women in their childbearing years, pregnancy can be a time fraught with risk and complications such as
stillbirth
, preterm labor and miscarriage.

I am a worrier and now I’m not worried about miscarriage as past that point all that’s in my mind is
stillbirth
and there not being a heartbeat.

Feeling like a rubbish mum for failing at breast feeding.
Due to having lupus I was classed as a high risk pregnancy so ended up being consultant led and told I'd be induced early at 38 weeks as I was more likely to develop preeclampsia and
stillbirth
which we already had a number of in our family.

Early induction booked for 38 weeks. What should I expect?
A little about me: 2 and half years unexplained infertility, 1 NHS fresh cycle equalled success with our only viable 5 day blasto I also have lupus so put in the immuno fetal clinic and have a higher risk of pre eclampsia and
stillbirth
due to this hence early induction.

Double Transfer
I am transferring two embryos in my third FET in accordance with the NICE guidelines but I feel so judged, guilt tripped and spoken down to by everybody I’ve discussed it with and it’s really getting me down 😔 I’ve even been told that if I have a
stillbirth
or a disabled baby it will be my fault.

Recurrent miscarriages and even later pregnancy loss (
stillbirth
) are well recognised features of Hughes syndrome. But infertility?

Stillbirth risk after IVF
I have read in various places that there are risks (mainly
stillbirth
) if you go over 40 weeks/full term. I voiced these concerns to my midwife who was incredibly unhelpful and just said "well I've never heard that. There is a risk of
stillbirth
with any pregnancy." And then shut the topic down.

Although Hughes Syndrome is recognised as the commonest, treatable cause of miscarriage, other obstetric conditions have also been linked – notably
stillbirth
– in a higher incidence of aPL positive pregnancies reported by the group in Salt Lake City.
