Voice improvement
After following advice and wisdom from this fab group over the last couple of years I have now managed to feel much better with increased thyroxine and various supplements. One unexpected bonus has been my singing voice. I am in my 70s and have sung soprano in a large choral society for years but a year

What to do?
I have tried to take 100 Levothyroxine but I felt horrible. Would you recommend lowering Levothyroxine to 75 and adding 5 or perhaps 5+5 liothyronine? On 87.5 t4 TSH 0.23(0.4-4.2) Ft3 4.2 (3.5-6.5) Ft4 15 (12-23)

Not a UTI

Help with blood test results, please.
I was diagnosed with B12 Deficiency with Pernicious Anemia in 2018. I was given the six loading doses and injections every 12 weeks. After about two years I was able to get them changed to every 8 weeks. Although that did seem to help I am still not feeling myself. I keep track of all of my blood

10yo daughters resultsā¦HELP!
Hello, I have posted before regarding my daughter who is 10yo but we have just had some very unusual and worrying results which may explain her health issues. She has a long term history of low platelets and Iāve been trying to solve this for her as it has been unexplained. We have strong family history

ft3 and t3 the same thing?
hi is Ft3 the same thing as T3? I think here in Scotland we only measure Tsh and t4, t3 (I think) at a push if requested but hard to get at GP. In England is it Ft3 Iāve seen on posts. Thatās why Iām asking if theyāre the same measurement. Iād like to know how well Iām converting and if not if I can

Vitamin and antibody blood test
I got my results back from my test I did on Monday. Iāve attached screen shots below. My ferritin has improved and my antibodies have always been 80 but they seem to have halved ! My vitamin d has also improved. Please can you have a look and see what you think ? And what are thyroglobulin antibodies

Rt3 - clarification
Hey all, I've been doing a fair bit of reading and I see that the stance here is that rt3 is useless. Maybe this will help someone. A cell will have a receptor for T3 and RT3 can bind to it weakly (thanks Helvella, I have corrected it). When you take too much T4 or you don't convert well, your protective

need guidance
Hello all, I'm new here. I was researching and came across this group. I'm asking for advice actually for my daughter. Here is the story. My daughter as a child was slightly overweight at age of puberty. When she was about 20, we went to a dr who ordered a thyroid US. Results multi nodules. No big concern

T3 and arrhythmia
I've been on levo for 25 years. A few years ago I found I have mitral and tricuspid regurgitation ,sinus tachycardia, and some PACs. I asked an internist if I could take t3 and he said no. But I can't tolerate the fatigue anymore. Is it safe to take t3 when having arrhythmia?

First of all I want to thank the administrators and everyone who contribute to this forum. I look at it several times a week and so continue to learn about our shared condition from all the contributions. I need to take a bit of a sounding about my next steps ā I think I know what I want to do, but
