Will these side effects end?
I finished 9 weeks of RT 10 days ago. Stage 2-3 pc. On monthly Eligard. The SE have been on/off diarrhea, managed by immodium and on/off urination problems. I am recording the times of my nightime trips to monitor my sleep cycles. I get up about 6 times per night to pee - about every 100 minutes. I

Hi, I had a laporoscopy on Saturday and despite all the symptoms I’ve had since I was 14 (I’m now 32), they found no endometriosis. I felt so emotional and confused at first when he told me because all the typical symptoms suggested endo and I thought not only would I finally have an answer but some

post period pain
hi all, I had laparoscopy last week and was recovering fine, just took some paracetamol for the first few days. Then my period came and it bam, it feels like someone is stabbing me in the ovary, waking me up at night. It’s so painful. I didn’t have severe pain before surgery, I was dianosed after years

Realisation of impact on my family of changes in me
Howdie All I've been lost in a darkness for a while = DEPRESSION. I'm not going to write about this. I'm coming out the other side and am looking around again...thank god it has been short-lived. All of my family members who I live (3) with have upset me a lot on a consistent basis and I sunk into

Endometriosis surgery with pelvic floor dysfunction
Hello all, I’m writing to see if anyone here who has pelvic floor dysfunction has also had endometriosis surgery? I’ve been getting Botox injections every 6 months to my very tight pelvic floor muscles, which has helped with my chronic pelvic pain. But I’ve also been clinically diagnosed with endometriosis

PSA post Salvage Radiation
Prior post: My husband, at diagnosis had 3+4 on a couple of samples and chose to have surgery. He had clean margins and reached undetectable PSA after Prostatectomy. Near the end of 5th year after surgery his PSA became detectable. He did salvage radiation at .09 PSA. His PSA went down to .08 after

Family struggles and my mental health
I feel overwhelmed because I am currently in college and unfortunately have to return home for the holidays. I am also having surgery during the holidays. I don't want to go back home. Living with my family is not safe for me. I need to feel like I can get through living with them for those few weeks

I am a 62 year old male and suffered a heart attack in Feb 2020. I subsequently had one stent fitted. I have been on low dose aspirin and other meds since then. Foraminotomy
has anybody had a posterior endoscopic foraminotomy? In particular for bone spurs. I could be looking at this surgery once injections have been exhausted. Would be interested in hearing from people about how they found it, did it work, and crucially what was your post op experience like, pain levels,

reoccurrent miscarriage & endo
Hi all. I had a laparoscopy last week, I was lucky as it was only one month after suspecting I could have endo. Although I think it was the cause of my 6 miscarriages and 2 failed ivf attempts. I’m feeling pretty enraged that not one of the 5 fertility doctors I’ve seen suggested it could be endo, even

Not A lot Been Posted About Tooth Extraction.... TIPS? Thanks so much!
Dad is 78, probably Stage 4-ish with Parkinson's. His family and his neurologist are still working on relieving the psychosis symptoms which began after an unplanned-for, emergency surgery on his broken ankle (fell while gardening). We now have printed handouts to give every doctor, nurse, or surgeon

ripped stitches behind shaft after teenage circumsion.. advice?
its been 6 days after i got my surgery done due to phimosis, and i noticed a big lump of some kind of fluid on the 4th day and i stupidly was trying to drain it slowly through any possible tiny gaps that were possibly left and i ripped the back stitches, releasing most the fluid out and leaving a gaping

Bronchiectasis and unrelated antibiotics
Yesterday I had dental surgery to extract a molar because it was fractured ( could that be due to many many events with prednison???), and now I am on antibiotics amoxicilin. Dentist says 6 days or so. In general my peak flow always increases with antibiotics for other reasons (dental, urinary), but

24 hrs Holster test results
So, having had this test done on the last day of November and heard nothing back from my GP I decided to ring the surgery this morning. They told me it is usually around a 5 week wait before they get the results but perhaps ring the hospital. I did this and was then told by the cardio respiratory department
