Ramipril Medication Change
Hiya - update on my meds and general health. I had been taking my usual 5mg Bisoprolol 2.5 Ramipril 25mg Spirolactone and keeping in NSR now since December 11th 2019 however, I developed a kind of masky film over my throat - always constantly trying to clear my throat after eating food. Cardiac nurse

About my husband I have posted about his confusion and spoke to his doctor”s surgery yesterday over the phone and was advised to up his lactulose. They also told me that he should have received a letter to self isolate for three months. I was woken by him at four this morning he was on the floor next

Breathing and "funny feeling"
I have permanent AF and moderate HF with crt-p implanted. I take Bisoprolol, Digoxin, Rivaroxaban, Furosemide, Spironolactone, Candesartan. I tend to struggle to breath on exertion a lot of the time and sometimes when I am out of breath I have a funny sensation a bit like a hot flush going through

Naturally High Testosterone causes water retention?
I have had oily skin since I was a kid, I am now 38 years old. I have been having outbreaks of acne since I was young. I got my hormones tested today and my testosterone is very high, I am not taking supplements or any weird stuff. Could this explain my water retention? (its listed as a side effect

Spironolactone, side effects ?
Hi, not been here for a while. Am now diagnosed with Heart Failure Stage 2 after having 2 M.I. in 2012 & subsequent triple by pass surgery. Currently I have a great local Heart Failure team although not seen my cardiologist for over a year. My question is whether members have had side effects from Spironolactone

Lungs
I have ALD and am currently on 50mg Spironolactone for ascites and 40mg Propanolol for varices. I keep getting slightly bubbly lungs when I lie down for a while and in the morning. Is this related to the ALD or entirely separate? Thanks. Wendy

SPIRONOLACTONE
I used to take Furesemide which used to make me rather lightheaded and feeling tired. The consultant has changed this for Spironolactone 25 mg, it seems to be OK but I keep feeling very itchy on my Back and my arm. Cannot see any Rash though. I wonder if anyone has experienced this itchiness whilst
