Stopping diuretics
I have been on diuretics since 2022 and finally reduced to 25mg spironolactone which I’m due to come off. Now recompensated/compensated. It’s been a long journey since 480mgs of a combo or ferusamide & spironolactone. I’ve heard weight gain might occur when I stop. Has anyone experienced this? My hope

High Testosterone with Cirrhosis!!
Hi. My testosterone levels have been increasing steadily over past 18 months. They are now well over twice highest expected "normal range" levels for men.(I haven't included the numbers as I'm not sure if we are meant to here?) Anecdotally, this has coincided with increasing, and on bad days, debilitating

New diagnosis of HF and Cardiomyopathy
Hi, I've just turned 40 and was diagnosed back in February with no known cause. My EF was 15 and I am now on the highest doses of meds available including Entresto, Bisoprolol, Dapagliflozin, Furosemide and Spironolactone. I had a review echocardiogram 2 weeks ago and despite maximum dose my EF is still

I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on FSH and LH. I am extremely worried and upset and would be grateful for any help. Does Diltiazem (Angitil SR90) make you feel very tired?
Hi there, mum gas just been swapped from verapamil to angitil. She's also come off her usual spironolactone (on since Oct 23) since it was causing renal failure. I've never seen her so tired and exercise intolerant - has anyone else experienced this? She suffers principally from diastolic heart failure

Spironolactone
I'm aged 63 years. I am currently taking Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, Ramipril, Warfarin, Aspirin, Atorvastatin, Omeprazole and Spronolactone. I have been on the same medication for around 10 years, having had an Aortic Valve replacement 12 years ago. Until recently, there have been no problems with the medication

Fainting and shakes
Hi, I am new to posting but have been reading for some time. I was diagnosed with afib in 2021 and also had a stroke caused by a brain bleed. I am now in PAF which kicks in every 2 weeks or so, lasting a few hours. When this happens I usually have a "funny turn" , feel a bit faint for a few seconds

SPIRONOLACTONE 25 MG TABLET
Can anyone please tell me if spironolactone interferes with RLS? If so, are there any other b/p meds that can be a good substitute? I'm already taking HCTZ and lisinopril.
