Update on “continuing member”
My medicines are delivered so it will be the end of the week before I get the
Spiriva
. In the meantime, should I continue with Trelegy, open an Anoro and use until the new one comes, or should I use nothing until the new one comes?

Relvar Elipta
I am on Relvar Elipta once a day, but am finding that it only works for about two to three hours, no more, I also take
Spiriva
once a day and Ventolin when needed. Does anyone else have this problem with Relvar, I seem to spend my life being breathless these days

It was obvious from the original investigations that any type of bronchodilator were of no help so I was prescribed
Spiriva
which was very effective.

Going back to work as a teacher. ..advice appreciated!
I am on the
spiriva
respimat inhaler. I ordered n95 masks to go back to school on January 10th, but to be honest, I am terrified. They are no longer going to do contact tracing in the schools, and I live in a largely anti-vaxxing community.

COPD
I am taking BREO Ellipta &
Spiriva
in the mornings, also Salbutamol HFA 100UG when needed. Now I have had these these two flareups. First one was about a year ago. I just woke up finding it really hard to breathe, like I had a band rapped around my chest & had these really bad coughing fits.

Trimbow
I was on fostair 200/6 and
spiriva
for severe asthma but today they changed my inhalers to trimbow and I was wondering if that was a step back because I read that it is a lower steroid and my chest has been dodgy for the last few weeks

Questionable ingredients in spiriva respimat?
My doctor has let me try both the handihaler and the respimat for a month each and asked me to decide which works better for me. I feel like the respimat works better (maybe because its a soft mist?), but I am concerned about a couple of the non-medicinal ingredients. Has anyone heard whether the benzalkonium

How long for Spiriva to kick in?
Hey all, I just prescribe a
Spiriva
inhaler as a add on to my Fostair for perpetual asthma. How long did it take for you to notice the preventative effects? My doctor said it should be a few days, but a quick google search said 4-8 weeks.

Chest infection/asthma exacerbation and tapering steroids
So I now take relvar and
spiriva
. The issues I’m having is I now have a really dry cough, my rescue inhaler clears the coughing fit after about 6-8 puffs. Some coughing in between. My peak flow is around 70% going to 80% occasionally. I’m checking a lot.

Had anyone tried Mullein tea and black seed oil for asthma?
I was on seretide 250 two puffs a day and
spiriva
respimat once a day. I now only use the seretide once and no
spiriva
. I also haven’t had ventolin for over 5 months now. Has anyone tried Mullein tea daily and black seed oil? It has really worked for me.

Save money
Hi I am using
spiriva
that will use replacement cartridge, I have asked my surgery via email why the practice keeps sending complete set together every time , surely it will be cheaper for just the refill seems a waste of NHS resources

I was on Seretide 250 for years but after two particularly bad chest infections my breathing deteriorated, courses of steroids helped slightly and I was given

Respimat and after a few days I had and asthma attack.

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by a consultant part 1 (LAMAs, add-on inhalers, theo)
Spiriva
comes in 2 styles - respimat (a MDI style mist) and handihaler (a dpi), however with asthma the respimat is the only one that’s officially licensed 🙄 (or rather this was the case a couple years ago- it may have changed since!).

Peak flow increased by inhalers
I'm now on symbicort 200 2x puffs three times a day and also
spiriva
respimat 2x puffs in the morning. I check my peak flow regularly and for the last few months (since taking these new inahlers) I'm hitting 400 - 450 regularly.

Changing copd meds
Just had my copd review by telephone consultation and the nurse has changed my fostair and
spiriva
to trimbow as she though it might improve my wheezing. I started it yesterday and am really struggling today. Has anyone else experience of trimbow and does it take time to 'kick in?
